I loved the alien pistol the way it sounds when fired and the way the projectiles move when flying through the air I just hope when beth decides to do fallout 4 or whatever that they give alien weapons more attention then just one pistol.like alien assault types, heavy weapons, rifles, ect

These things are already available in the Fallout 3 DLC of Mothership Zeta. There are blasters, both pistol and rifle, automatic energy rifles and heavy duty drone cannons.

Sounds like you haven't heard of Mothership Zeta, as it contains exactly what you are looking for.

Yep. While Mothership Zeta is undoubtedly the most unpopular DLC, it seems to be made for you. It contains all the Aliens and Alien weaponry you can handle.

Also I'd recomend picking up The Pitt along with it. Which is my favorite DLC and defintely worth playing (much more than MZ in my view).

Why is it so unpopular. I mean, personally, I hated it too. But why does everyone else hate it? Anti-Lore?

Most common reasons:

1. Alien Abduction is too silly and too far off from Fallout's main theme.

2. Its glitchy as all hell.

I could endure a 'wild wasteland' re-mix version, with 1 or 2 alien weapons but we don't really need a ton as everyone has stated before

I don't think that the next Fallout will have as vast an amount of alien tech as Fallut: MZ did, mainly because was a huge dissapointment to fans and critics alike so the idea of Bethesda doing something like that again doesn't make sense.

The only reason people actually bought Broken Steel was because it allows them to continue play after the ending.

Spoiler
The main body of the DLC is crap, though, since you get railroaded back into the BoS even if you chose to help the Enclave at the end. And it's nothing more than boring corridor-crawling and shoot-em-up.

All you do is destroy vertibirds (:() and kill the best faction in the game.

On the plus side, Liberty Prime is finally destroyed. Ends up being a hollow victory though.

The only real reason I tolerate Broken Steel is because of Adams Air Force Base. Its one of my favorite locations.
