No more beta invites?

Will this wave of invites be the last one going out? Because I just missed registration for the beta by one day

~3 months until release. Safe to say others will happen.

You can act on the assumption that more beta invites will follow until release.

With three months left.... Might be 2-3 more. At least there will be one more I guess. The open beta.

that is just random guessing, we have no idea when Open beta is. IT might happen only for a week for all we know.

Yeh, what I meant was since theres just under 3 months until launch, the open beta will be within these 3 months, which really isn't that long left to wait.

'not long' isn't really a specific timeframe though. The 3 months left until release qualify as 'not long' to me.

It's really up to Zenimax Online whether or not further Beta tests are needed.

We can't really give a specific time frame unless they announce it, I'd say maybe 4-3 weeks before launch or something.

Indeed. I posted that because PKMN called you out for giving a timeframe, when all you'd said was 'not long'.

This might be pushing the boundaries a bit but the most recent keys that were given out appear to be only good for the upcoming weekend?

Of course. One beta at a time.

That's the only guarantee, but once you have your account, your foot's in the door. Thus more tests, even if they're just stress deals, are pretty much guaranteed. They don't really need a specific type of person for those tests, just the numbers.

Why should they only give you beta for one weekend?

Does not make much sense, the beta tester users become more useful over time: next session they know how to play, how to report bugs and so on.

If you run public betas you want as many people inn as your servers can handle.

More people to find bugs, test on more hardware, you also get more feedback on how the game work in an crowded world.

Well I guess I'll have to make the best of it then. Let's clear that weekend schedule! :)

That is strange but I had been in GW2 beta and situation was the same - playing only on weekends (and not all of them).

most Beta's are like that. and yeah, once you are invited, you are not in all betas afterword, you have to be invited again.

Same here and I want in :-( I just gave up on FFXIV and I need a new home even if it's just for the weekend. I was looking forward to doing different things than in the last beta weekend... I guess I will be... good thing there's football on this weekend
