More Caesar's Legion stuff

Yeah they don't slaughter women. They only have their way with them sixually and sell them and kids into slavery. There morals are right up their with saints

Also NCR does not go around killing women and kids. One example (Bitter Springs) that was a mistake, fog of war thing is not the norm! NCR does not make it their policy to go around massacring and enslaving.

Yah even America had those moments like that(Vietnam).

Dear god, at least when he says something about you he isn't downright hostile. At least he acts like a reasonable, civilized human being,

This, pretty much. The Legion isn't as terrible as having no laws at all (IMHO, I'd rather have to live by their rules, then no rules at all. The Legion isn't all sunshine and rainbows, but at least with them people can't do whatever they want.) but if you have any alternative at all, that isn't pure anarchism, then they start looking a little less appealing.

Moving swiftly onward, in hopes to return this train to it's tracks.

I feel the Legion and NCR are both societies that cannot be truly said to be better than the other, they each make up where the other lacks. One offers you safety at the price of your freedom, the other offers protection akin to the Old War at the cost of high taxes. It's all a matter of perspective.

Are all the Legion evil pyschopaths?
Can anyone think of any one in the Legion who is 'friendly'.

Pheonix dude of Cottonwood Cove came off as 'arrogant' and Cursor Lucullus didn't seem evil at all...just a humble ferryman.

But really when you look at it there more cons than pros to the legions side.

Exactly, the Legion may have its upsides like safer roads and communites but if your one of the younger recruits or a women you really dont get a chance to enjoy them that much.

That's not entirely true. If you're a Legion citizen, you have a harsh lawed, but safe society. The NCR somewhat offers this, yes you have 'freedom', but their taxes are so high that people are coming from the West just so they can scav for caps just to break even at this point. The way I see it, picking one side over the other is a Catch-22.

We don't even know if there are any Legion citizens, for all we know EVERYONE is a part of the war machine or a slave.

There aren't any citizens really. Just slaves and soldiers

Lucius, I know I will get flamed for this but vulpus I thought was a nice guy I.e. protecting the ncr informer along with killing a crack town made me like him for that and I really dug dead sea.
P.s. Yes I know vulpus got info from her but she did work for ncr

Try to keep the thread on topic please. I edited and deleted a few posts. If you don't have anything to add to the subject, then don't post, ok?

Its too bad to because even though I would probably still be against them it might have helped to show what everyday life in the Legion is like for civilians. Surely its not as bad as it is at the fort...

OK. I'm a little lost here. Call me a little behind the times, but there's Facebook groups dedicated to RPing from video games? Wow. This I got to see. Did anyone add a linky to the page?

Would've been nice. I was disappointed with how they portrayed the Legion for a while after the game came out, I remember them talking about the factions not being black and white, but more "Gray", but they didn't exactly make them "Gray". :/ If you just pick up the game, with no knowledge of the back-ground, or how the Legion works in other places, you could mistake them for just another tribe.

I found it. Thanks.

You know, this kinda thing is not for me, but I tell ya, if somebody wanted to start a PnP Fallout campaign somewhere near, I'm in like Flynn.
