More choices in end game armor

Post » Mon Nov 01, 2010 8:14 pm

The problem is getting those high-level, non-demonic armors in the original (note: pre DLC and pre the now-unlikely expansion(s)) game on the heavy armor side and just toning down the overly glossy light armors, in general, in my opinion.

I sure hope they don't do away with expansions in TES V.

As for variety, all I can think of that can rival Daedric and Glass is Nordic Mail armor and perhaps armors from other planes of Oblivion. And artifacts, of course.

There need to be more armor choices in general.

Beth can heed advice from many mmorpg's which have top tier armors n weapons for all classes

Yeah, but that's all they do.
TES has to have great story, guilds, quests, lore, etc.

Anyway, I would also like if there were some neat clothes and robes for unarmored players.
And it would be perfect if we could color them in color we want.
I hated when I found great robes in Oblivion for my character but it was in ugly red color that totally didn't fit my character.
Would sold my soul at that time if someone could provide me with blue/black version of it. >.>

at the end of Oblivion i would have liked at least the option to have a heavy or light armor set....

and i agree with the guy who wanted Imperial watch armor that white armor was awesome looking... even though my character now is light armor i still would like to own that.

I'd say a nice way to solve this would be to be able to customize or even re-shape (dunno how that would work, maybe you could add more materials or melt it down and essentially make a new 'look' with it while keeping attributes, or possibly make it so you might/will lose some of the attributes?) your armor. I think that'd solve this right there.

Suire it is always fun to run around with the absolute best armor in game but for those of us who like the role play or look our characters class it seems a little odd when I ( I made my character a paladin) am running around in full daedric gear. You can imagine my response when Knights of the nine came out (never took that [censored] off) but the point I am trying to make is that by the endgame it would be nice if there were more choice in the armor we wore without having to take a hit to overall playability. I know it's sort of a difficult request (involving making more armor that would suit the general ideas of an RPG's classes.)

discuss

It is my hope that the radiant system that moniors all that a player does, will take into account whether you're playing pure mage or barbarian, etc. and tailor the high end weapons/armor to fit your character. Yes, those are high hopes, but the potential is there!
