More disaster?

So would you guys like to see more natural disasters? Like tornadoes where storm atronach camps would be, or Earthquakes? Just in certain areas?

Not worth the development effort and it would only ever end in hassle for us players.

To actually implement realistic damage of tornadoes and earthquakes and having the environment recover... would take OVER 9000 YEARS TO IMPLEMENT!!!! :damnit I wish there was a super saiyan emoticon:

Yeah maybe if there were then shoehorning memes into posts wouldn't take quite so much shoehorning.

Sounds like an awesome idea.... for a game developed twenty years from now.

I am not going to say it isn't possible, but passive climatic/regional environmental disasters that are only additions for the game but impact everything around them would be a huge leap in game design. Such events that change so much in the world would be impressive to behold or sorely disappointing gimmicks.

Depends on what level of detail people would want this on, Rift uses a system to effect its mmorpg world in real time when different races invade and alter the landscape and stuff so if they can do it on an mmo then there is no reason that something involving natural disasters couldn't be done in a normal rpg...... is there?

Maybe just small ones. Item physics being used, and what-not. Small tornado throwing objects around when a storm atronaut is near, etc.

I can't imagine an atronaut causing natural disasters. Perhaps a group of them. It would also cause hell for saves, I would think, if the world is constantly being edited.

Small scale tornadoes caused by atronachs would be so awesome.I really hope that they use the havok engine to it's true potential this time, like spells that knock people into the air or away.
