More diverse textures

I was just wondering as I'll likely be playing as an engineer if you could apply rust or dirt, oil even, on armor so the items look like they have seen their fair share of battle.

Rust patches and blood stains on armor/weaponry sounds nice. I'd imagine that comes out at a later date as DLC, whether that be paid or free.

No word, no idea, no clue. Wouldn't get your hopes though. If you have the lowest expectations imaginable, you know they will be met and exceeded.

Well, Resistance weapons do look like that.

Security weapons on the other hand are always well maintained.

You can put your own skin on them. Just look at the pre order bonuses.

I, for one, would welcome the opportunity to have Pepsi- and pizza-stained revolvers.

Okay, here's a better reply, if you're playing on the PC, you can add your own skins in the steammaps folder you'll receive. But only you will see it, but before you reply saying you want others to see it, ask yourself why.

That's really only for Source Engine games, and only because Valve is so incredibly modification-friendly.

BRINK will most likely be in the common folder, not steamapps.

For skins, all I've heard about is the Pre-order bonuses.

Then again GTA has a large modding community for a long time. And the mods are applied through changing core files.
