Such an active thread deserves a sequel.

I do not know. I seen the link, read everything, and still do not know. Something just does not feel right. To wait so long, saying they cannot comment, they will let us know when they have something, and then all of a sudden say, this is it, the end. Something is not right.

True, but they didn't fully release DLC until Feb. 11th, 18th, and 22nd. In their defense, it's a little shy of 2 months.

Skyrim has filled 2 long dark winters with many, many hours of fun. Moving on brings the next TES nearer and that is good enough for me. Who can't help but be excited about the next Fallout or the next TES? I look forward to the next game and still have many Skyrim hours yet to play.

I asked Pete on twitter why it was announced so late after dragonborn. No reply yet though.

If anyone is interested, Beth just tweeted that they want the fans to tweet them their Skyrim memories with the hashtag SkyrimMemories and they'll be posting some of then on the website.

Meh, looking forward to their next project, should be another fun fun ride.

Waiting to tell us doesn't really bug me. No one has everything planned out from day one. They told us when they told us, beyond that is rather pointless speculation if you ask me. I doubt they are out to get us, but others can't help but see that I guess.

Yeah it's pretty annoying that they left us hanging to speculate in more DLC for so long.

Yep, not quite two months doesn't seem so late to me.

I am exited for TES VI but not fallout 4. I liked fallout 3 but it got boring after a few weeks. I have played skyrim Non stop since I got it and I still wont stop.

Somewhere in Bethesda's studio is an unfinished DLC that gave Skyrim a fitting ending. They failed to get that DLC to work in time before the workers had to move onto the next project so they will just leave it there. Never to be mentioned again.

Skyrim was the 13th most played Xbox game of 2012 http://majornelson.com/2013/01/22/top-games-of-2012/

Anyone have PS3 or PC numbers?

I can personally. For me fallout is just there to fill that vast empty void til the next TES. I'll still be playing Skyrim til it comes out though. I wouldn't have cared so much if it wasn't for me having to put up with all those dlc threads, and me fantasizing about a civil war dlc. You know what the worst part is? No closure to the civil war. I was hoping some day we could finally get new info on the civil war that could finally put some things to bed. Now? Now we'll never know. I really wish they could have just said DB was the last one. It would have been MUCH MUCH easier to accept.

Well at least they still want to hear Skyrim stories from the fans instead of just totally leaving Skyrim on the backburner after todays announcement.
