This is either the greatest typo of all time or the greatest idea of all time.

Technically he didn't lie though and Beth's PR team is still better then EA's. His original tweet didn't say "working on new skyrim dlcs" just new content, that doesn't mean he meant dlcs and it wasn't really his job to say there wouldn't be more dlcs because he probably didn't know that they would stop making dlcs, it was most likely that the decision was made after december 3rd 2012.

it is still bad PR to lead the fans on for no reason for 4 months. They knew for a fact that everybody an their mothers would take their comments as "well.. why wouldn't there be more DLC after those quotes?".

Maybe, but the obvious conclusion that people were going to take from that was more Skyrim content.

Anyone in PR should have known that and that makes it a lie

Right and patches and bugfixes can be seen as new content.

But it's your own fault for taking it that way, he never said DLCs in general.

Really? Do we need a 4th topic? We all know how it's going to end.

With a thalmor war dlc with a big pink bow on it and lots of love and kissies from bethesda...

I think that I've reached that point as well... but I think I'll take a day or two off from Skyrim and play something else. Get my mind off it ect.

I also accepted it, but I do not have to like it. I will make a brand new character and just go from there, and wait and see if another Elder Scrolls is one day going to come out, unless they decided to kill the whole thing.

Click the button really fast. Lots o fun.

I am going to bookmark that page. lol

Because I'm not an idiot that instantly jumped to conclusions and I can accept when things have to end.

Look everyone. Frustration with Bethesda united the New Vegas and Skyrim forums.

Hell is -literally- freezing over as we speak. :D

If they were working on a another DLC for Skyrim maybe it or pieces of it will find itself in the next TES. Hopefully we can take the fight to the Thalmor.

That is a fine dream. Wish it would happen.
And i wish some of your DLC Suggestions would be official.

Thanks, that's kind of you... :)

I can't understand why they kept the DLC suggestion threads so long open... After all, the Skyrim general suggestions thread were closed long before Skyrim came out...

There are many things I can't understand in the abruptness and lateness of this announcement. I hope they'll explain a bit more their motives and communication strategy on those points.

Well, I now accept that Skyrim rests in my lore book of my mind. I'll wait till September to afford a PC to handle the decent mods, re-create my characters and expand their stories with decent quests such as the amazing Moonshadow, wait... that's Azura's realm right?

Neither am I. It's called hope for a game you love. I'd love to tell you what I really think of you, but I don't want to get banned. Fill in the blanks.

And "We're not done yet with dlc" and us believing that statement isnt jumping to conclusions. So I'm the idiot?

The fact still remains that the people who are saying "Oh he lied or was misleading" is wrong, he never stated they were working on dlcs and if you instantly assume he did then it's your own fault for getting your hopes up.

I can't imagine the New Vegas Obsidian people would be celebrating. They think bethesda is the anti-christ and yet they will buy Fallout 4 despite that. Hypocrites.

Told you so?

Sorry we didn't believe you. You called it among many others.

http://www.askthemotherboard.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/chocolate_chip_cookie.jpg

Though I must say and I highly suspect they scrapped a couple DLC's. I'm sure we will hear about it down the road, possibly after TES6.

So we have to wait another two hundred years to find out what's going on with the aldmeri dominion.

You might as well quote me right now because I'm about to say it:

Elder Scrolls VI : Summerset Isle

I'm betting not. It'll probably be along the lines of the first four games where the next one happens a half-a-generation later.

No, it's not. That was 4 months of silence. They had no reason to not say this after Dragonborn's release. The precedent had been set by other games. It's bad PR.

Oh yeah, as much as i respect Bethesda for making amazing games, they are very poor on communication and really don't tell people anything. It really was a shame what they did to ps3 users as well. In my opinion i just feel that Bethesda could have treated fans/people "Better" and really tell them what is going on.To me not making another DLC was a horrible decision and i bet alot of other people will say the same. Not only does Bethesda not make more money, but they also made alot of people unsatisfied and left a bad impression on everything to end it.

"AS FAR AS DLC FOR SKYRIM GOES, WE'RE NOT DONE." That is VERY misleading. You need CHIM to prove that BS isn't.
