FaceGen 3D Human Faces? This is what they were doing? You know, I think they were being a menace to south central (skyrim) while drinking their juice (skooma) in the hood @sigreference.
it would be pretty cool if Beth let us use cameras and put our own faces in the game
This, I remember there being a face generator somewhere in the modding community that you can just put a picture and it would model itself over it. I want to make an exact Ezio!

Then we would have many heros with genetalia as faces
lmao.... when I think of this concept further I can see many ugly ass faces arising. But In many games with this feature, if the face pictured is too augmented, it simply wont be accepted. I tried to put my gf at the time in Fight Night and it didnt work. I always figured it was because her facial structure was too feminine.
Yeah I'd prefer a new generation system, my problem with facegen is that everything looks so airbrushed on, everything from the lips to the eyebrows. There's not enough contrast, it all just kinda blurs together in facegen.
The faces in OB were hideous meat sacks I must admit. I hate to criticise BGS's work on Elder Scrolls because I love the series so much but it was so hard to create a character in OB that didn't look like someone had filled a burlap sack with meat and used it as some sort of macabre puppet. With A LOT of practice you could create something reasonable but well.... This is one of the things I hope for most will be fixed in Skyrim, I also have a lot of confidence in BGS that they'll do it too.

I must be the only one who had no problem with facegen. I thought it was fine. Then again, I'm more about the RPG value not the graphics value when it comes to my RPG's.
I'm sure they'll use some sort of face gernerator again, and that will be fine by me.

I've had no problem with facegen either. Good enough for my needs.
I've never gone for that whole customization stuff. If they give me 3 options for a face and hair, I'd be good to go.
As I see it, the main point of Facegen isn't for the player customization, but for the NPCs to have different faces. In Morrowind there were a lot of NPCs who had the same face.

Ah, didn't know that. Thanks  Still, it seemed good enough for me

I agree.

I found it a great addition to the series. Can it be improved upon? Sure.
