More Fallout 4 Predictions

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 9:51 pm

I just wanted to post some of my crazy Fallout 4 predictions. First, I want to say I love Bethesda and all the Fallout games. That being said, I do believe Bethesda will use some ideas found in unpublished fallout games and build on these. They have done it in the past. Some examples include the BOS expanding eastward looking for new technology(FO3/Van Buren). Harold's tree producing seeds that take root(FO2/VB/3). The terraforming GECK(Fallout movie/FO3). Some of the weapons from 3 were originally in some of the undeveloped Fallout games.
1. I believe "Shaun" will survive and you will meet up with him later in the game. Everyone knows Bethesda doesn't kill
babies! I believe he will be a ghoul and yes infant ghouls do mature(look at Thyphon from Fallout 2...I'd say he "matured" very, very well). Also he will be kin to someone prewar, maybe the Maxson family.
2. The BOS will be the CW BOS, will be Arthur Maxson. I think most people agree on this, especially since the BOS airship Prydwen viewing at E3. But there are other clues as well.
In FO3 Arthur is associated with 2 poems,"Song of the Lightman" and "The Guardians of Gillyfrond." The first, SOL, relates to 'Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came' in which a
descendant of King Arthur goes on a quest in a wasteland. In SOL, "five made one" is referring to the ones in which Arthur Maxson descends from starting with Roger Maxson. In TGOG, we find a play on the
names in the poem. "Molly Golly" is of course a young girl. "Molly" means rebellious child and Golly means surprised. She has messed up her room, so she will be in trouble. I think Wollingsworth is referring to Arthur Maxson.
He is a teddy bear(King Arthur is also known as the Bear King.) I think "Wollingsworth is a play on the word "Hollingsworth." which means a male who thinks he knows it all but never reaches his full potential. It also
means he can never be trusted. He informs the others they will do what they are told, like it or not.
3.Harold's ending in Fallout 2 says that some of the seeds from the tree on his head has taken root in the wasteland and again we see that happen in FO3, but this is only part of the story. In Van Buren, it was the Twin Mothers who gave Harold a drink to cure him from an unknown illness. After this cure and with the aid of a ZAX computer, a cure for the New Plague can be developed
from the fruit that is produced from Harold's tree. I think we will find the New Plague return in FO4.
4. More on the Blackhall family of Point Lookout. Dunwich MA is actually Greenwich, MA. Greenwich was flooded to make the Quabbin Reservoir. Marcella tells you she has heard of the
Kriveknih before as in before she gets to Point Lookout. She travels East to Boston, so she could have learned of it around the Greenwich(Dunwich) area. Decides to investigate, gets to Boston and makes
arrangements with Tobar for passage. According to Lovecraft, there were 2 of these Kriveknih type books so I think we will get more of this story from Fallout 4.
5.I would love to see Marie Ashur from The Pitt in the game. Also just cant help but think one of those REPCONN rockets might have crashed outside Boston.

Fawkes' ex girlfriend and her teenage love child will come down from the forzen North to demand mutant justice in the form of alimony. Their demand is 1,000 bottlecaps a month.

Meh, the focus on saying 200 years might deflate arthur apperance and make the repconn rocket apperance impossible, time will tell if it really is exactly 200 years.

I always believed the five made one referred to the 5 major "wastelands" of the east, Ronto, The Commonwealth, The Pitt, The C.W., and The Broken Banks, being unified as one.

I predict that Madison Li from Fallout 3 will reappear in Fallout 4. In the Broken Steel add-on for Fallout 3, you can ask several characters what happened to Dr. Li after Project Purity. They say she left the Capital Wasteland and is heading towards the Commonwealth, which we now know is the setting for Fallout 4.

One of the REPCONN rockets went through a wormhole and traveled into the past. However, the most important issue is that Todd Howard said "200 years" so it is not known if he was being literal so the events in Fallout 3 is happening at the same time as Fallout 4 or if it was an approximation. So it could be 180 years or it could be 220 years after the bombs dropped. Although, I guess that partially depends on if Bethesda wants the events of Fallout 3 to affect Fallout 4 exactly like how Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and Witcher were affected by the actions that you have done in the previous games.

Khaleesi will return to the mainland with her 3 dragons, only to discover that they have heightened sensitivity to radiation.

I predict

1 that voice acting main character will ruin gameplay feeling

2 You will be "forced" to play as good guy if you want satisfaction end game

3 you will not be able to do what ever you want (invincible characters)

4 less RPG elements (no skills) but more perks witch should be new feature but i doubt it will be satisfactuary at the end

5 more FPS Rambo style

I predict that:

1) I'll actually prefer having a voiced protagonist to inject some much-needed personality into my PCs interactions with other characters and that I'll rather enjoy the cinematic dialog.

2) There will be a number of ways to approach the game.

3) NPCs being tagged as "essential" will continue to be something I don't give a second thought to.

4) I'll enjoy the new Perk system much more than Fallout 3's, as it elegantly provides a wider range of customization options while also allowing for a much broader range of growth without having to worry about all characters arriving at the same end-point, stat-wise.

5) Better real-time combat mechanics, with a marked improvement in third-person gameplay (which is my primary mode.)

Opinions sure are silly, aren't they? :twirl:

Oh you're one of those....

-on topic-

I for one have given up trying to predict story happenings of this game because one central question exist that I can't answer 100% and that's what year it is. As much as I want to believe it is after NV I have no hard evidence when I really get down to it...

Aye. The lack of solid confirmation on what year we leave the vault effectively blows up the number of storyline possibilities to crazy levels. The year is the single story-related fact I want to know before release, just so I can make some reasonably possible predictions and then see how horribly wrong I guessed. :twirl:

I predict that you're going to buy the game even though every single one of your posts is about how much you don't like the game, and you will make more posts after you play saying how bad it is.

I assume that gibberish means "Link please, thanks"? How hard is it to write something comprehensible?

And how about not taking the "200 years after the war" literally? Until we see a solid evidence of the exact date, consider it a rough estimate only.

I predict there are many people in here still butthurt they missed out on a Pipboy edition.

I predict that we will get at least 12 more distinct forum topics about the 200 year gap issue.
