Who else thinks it would be great to have a few more followers? Maybe just even be able to have two. I'd love to see it since they don't have in depth stories and personal quests like in the fallout games. Maybe have it added in a patch possibly?

The joys of BG2, still my favorite rpg of all time, especially with more than 15gb on mods with it.
On Topic, yes I believe more followers would be nice and I don't see why it should be limited, it's a single player rpg if i want to run around with my band of adventurers I should be able to, and those that dislike that idea could simply stay with one follower and not have others.

one of the first things im going to do when the GECK is released is to disable the follower check script. its actually easy to balance because i will end up using the low end imperial or leather gear and steel weapons and have a cadre of soldiers with me. i will have more followers but i will limit myself to what a typical imperial soldier can do which is basically one-handed, blocking and archery and no magic or shouts. kind of like a mount and blade style playthrough minus the horses. i cant wait.
