A more Graphic Game

Having too much of it will be far more annoying than nothing at all. So I'm saying as mach as is fitting, but not just for the heck of it.

Prostitution will probably be involved. Because Bethesda seems to be taking the wants of Fallout3 fanbois more then TES fanbois. They've already added perks.
There'll be a Nova somewhere...

On the other hand, I'll stick with the fantasy violence. As a person who is sorta kinda respected in the Encyclopedia Dramatica website, I've seen some videos and pictures that I'll never be able to remove from my memory, and I don't want violence like that in a video game. I remember one time I stumbled upon a teen suicide video...and I can still hear him pulling back the hammer on that pistol...

So, yes, I'll stick with the fake fantasy violence.

Well, I like gore, dunno why, I feel sick if I see any real gore but I like it in games. Althouh i'd prefare it not be over the top Gears of War style gore, just some decent gore...

Why did Bethesda had to bring perks in TES *cough* money *cough*... Perks belong to fallout, not TES... they better ad a game mode with : with or wihtout perks.

Voted, if I want it, I can mod it in.

I would like realistic gore... nudity if its tasteful and, ready for it? REALISTIC... none of that triple H cup with a teeny tiny waist and a huge ass. That's just degrading to women and completely breaks immersion.

One thing that I would like to see is a bit more darkness.

If there are blood and guts with crit attacks, that's one thing, but I would be really blown away if the game conveys the dark tone and mood of a civil war with all the atrocities and gravity this entails, especially if the PC has a personal stake in the outcome.

Blood and guts spewing forth from a random, anonymous goblin doesn't have anywhere near the same impact as violence or injustice against an NPC with a compelling backstory and a personal connection with the PC.

As long as it seems real why not, I would like a darker tone to it but that does not mean the story should be so dark and twisted it would put Poe to shame. I am also sick of the divide that bridges movies and games give the game developers the same freedom movie makers have!

That is... dirty.

I doubt we will be seeing nudity or many sixual references in it, especially because of it being multiplatform. We all know that there are a lot of console gamers who are nothing but kids, and we dont want to "corrupt their mind". Though if it was PC only, it could happen, think The Witcher.

Excuse me but please explain to me how seeing two briasts with nipbles on them (That they can see on a man but not female briasts) going to corrupt their mind compared to mindlessely killing a bunch of characters, with some blood you can see, or how the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild won't corrupt their midns. Sorry but that last line is just well ridiculous, Oblivion doesn't exactly have things that kids should see really, yet briasts corrupt them.

As for what I think, I don't really care if they add nudity or not. If they do then great, if they don't well I am getting the PC game anyways as I plan to do anyways if you catch my drift. Same with violence, just don't make it too gorey with guts sprayed on the screen, there is a line and violence is alot worse then nudity.

Do you think Skyrim should be more graphic then its predecessors? I.E: an M rated game for realistic wounds, decapitations, limb loss, burns from magical effects, really nasty looking zombies etc

How about advlt content? As in some nudity here and there, and themes such as prostitution? As I recall some lore on UESP says that some brothel houses have symbols of the Daedric Prince Sanguine, as his aspects of sixual debauchery and hedonism relate to them. That'd be interesting to touch on.

So...your thoughts?

I'm a fairly young gamer (Still under-age) but the Elder Scrolls is my favorite videogame series of all time. I fell in love withMorrowind and Oblivion, and still play them frequently. I've been waiting anxiously for Skyrim for a long time now. However, I have strict parents who won't let me play games with strong sixual themes in it, and I'm sure I'm not the only TES fan in that situation. But some sad, sad people don't care how much we love the games, or whether or not what they want would keep us from playing it. So, they call, "Ohz, I wantz to see da boobiez!!" I find this stupid and rude disrepectful and frustrating. I mean, why would you even want to see sixual stuff in a freaking VIDEOGAME, when you can go on the internet and actuallysee real people, not just pixels? Or, you could, you know, actually go outside and meet real-life girls. I know that's a longshot for you people, but its worth a try.

Helpful hint: Might want to rephrase "you people" because that sounds like a generalized attack.

As does "underage gamers aren't mature enough to handle anything beyond puffy toy blocks and action figures."

But why should things like that have to be moded? We like to say we're a progressive society, but we dont show it. Im not saying nudity has to be in, but I think some thought should be put into it.

Psh. Why show them? Its not like boobs actually exist right?

Nudity I can live without but a more gritty experiance would be nice, I just hate the divide between movies and games like I mentioned before: I would like a slightly dark gritty tone set ina fantasy worls that would be nice.

I voted "Yes, but not overtly..." because I appreciate in-context advlt situations, complete with any gore and nudity that might naturally accompany them. When gore and nudity are conspicuously absent from a scene that clearly calls for one or both of them, I find it slightly annoying. For example, prosttute scenes in vanilla Fallout 3 simply fade to black, denying me even a partial look into the scene that (I can only assume) must have naturally occurred.

When I was twelve years old, my rather strict parents allowed me to watch Schindler's List. Anyone who's seen Schindler's List knows that it's stuffed full of nudity and graphic violence, but it's all historically accurate and appropriate in-context, rather than being gratuitous. Like my parents, I don't believe appropriate nudity and violence should be censored. The Elder Scrolls series are computer games, true, but it's still possible for gore and nudity in them to be non-gratuitous.

Thankfully, I'll be playing the PC version of Skyrim, so whatever Bethesda decides about gore and nudity (probably heavy censorship and omissions, according to their track record) can be modded to fit my needs if I feel it's appropriate.

I feel for you. And I agree, I wouldn't want nudity for titillation's sake. But for realism, I wouldn't be opposed. However, this is how I see it. You've got mean parents. If Bethesda makes the game in a way that prevents your parent from allowing you to play it, you will be more understanding when you have children.

Also, as far as meeting "real life girls," most of us have done that. I'm guessing you haven't because if you told your parents you were going to be spending the evening at a girls house, they'd be much less concerned about "their baby boy" if you were sitting at home, with a video game.

Yes, but only for "realism's" sake. Nothing over the top. As long as it's what would happen in real life or is in real life, graphically in regard to gore and nudity, I wouldn't mind it in the game. Game is likely to be, or already is, rated mature anyways.
