More guns please

It would be nice if crytek used the little remaining time to add few more guns into the game.

More guns? Well, OK, there are only so few guns in the demo, but didn't you expect that already? As far as the full game goes, there are a lot of guns, actually. True, not as many as COD, but then again, most of the guns in COD aren't even used. People mostly use AK74u, Famas, Commando and MP5K. That's basically where it ends.

I think Crysis 2 has a very good amount of guns. There aren't too few, yet there aren't too many either. It's just enough.

It's always better to focus on better balance, than just adding a crap load of guns in the game.

What you experienced in the demo is just a taster of weapons. There's still more. :)

i'm fine with the amount of guns as long as each one plays differently so each gun has it's own playing style and techniques which so far i have seen in the demo.

However i would like to see more classic crysis and there to be a few map weapons that are more powerful but at specific locations on the map a la halo encouraging more map control.

I would like more guns please. :|

Kinda funny how you guys reference Black Ops for why many guns aren't good, yet I am jamming out with the FN FAL on some hardcoe Search and Destroy and plan on using the G11 later. =/

N00bs. Once you play some hardcoe (which Crysis 2 will have), the choice of weaponry becomes less important and it is how you use it that matters.

More guns = more options = more gameplay styles are fulfilled

I like more options, personally.

Yet the effective gameplay styles can be narrowed down to semi auto and full auto.

All that happens in cod is that there is a definite 'best' full auto and a definite 'best' semi-auto and the rest kind of svck in comparison. Also, since it's hardcoe you're playing on, all guns kill about the same kind of speed (making it a game of pacman) so the differences between them are not noticeable.

Heh, yeah, max ranges in this game look like about 50 meters. The only differences are going to be how hard it kicks, is it full or semi auto, and how much damage does it do. For the consoles, with their auto aim, it will probably only be the latter two.

No excuses they have had plenty of time to iron out all the kinks they could at least work on bringing out down loadable weapon, vehicle & mission packs to extend the replay value of crysis 2 a few months after it releases it wouldn't kill them to give us more then just a pretty fps game with standard fps features which are found in most every other fps game out there.

They have 22 right now right? I havent played the beta cus I dont have an xbox but I thought I saw on a video that there are 22....

Anyway, that sounds fine to me. CoD puts waaay too many in there game. 22 sounds like a nice amount. Maybe 3 more would be good but I cant complain really. I usually only stick to one anyway.

It is only 2 snipers and 2 heavy guns, and 1 of each is a alien weapons
I am kind of dissapointed in lack of guns. Also im getting irratable of lack of PS3 footage
They claimed the PS3 actually looks a bit better than Xbox 360
I have both consoles, but preordered the PS3 because of thaIf this turns out to be false, i am getting pissed.
Well, i am looking forward to it anyway. Especially the singleplayer, and really hope most maps is bigger than Skyline. Also i wish we could spawn on oppesite side of maps, because i can't even count the number of times i have spawned behind a enemy and killed him, the same often happens to me

It doesn't matter how many guns is available, It's only about how good is balance and their role in specific situations and game styles.

Guns are enough .I laugh at those ppl complaining for more guns when in fact in other games with more guns they finally use only 3-4 of them cause they are the more overpowred ones.So yes i prefer less guns but more balanced ones and choose between them than really have 30 guns and play only with 3

There are enough weapons. Ive had enough of FPS games with 27 redundant primaries and 3 overpowered ones thanks (oh, hi Call of FAMAS: AKS74u Ops).

I'm hoping for creative alien weapons. I want more than just the MOAC/MOAR.

I hope there will be atleast 5 different weapons of each type. I cant imagine myself having a lot of fun by killing newbs with the same LMG and the same sniper rifle for a very long time.
