More Help with no Spoilers Please? (Spoiler in Question thou

Post » Fri Dec 02, 2011 10:36 am

Hey all, I don't like spoilers, and have asked specifically before for answers without spoilers and the community here was VERY HELPFUL and answered perfectly. Well, I've got another, and, unfortunately, I don't know how to even ask my question without the question itself being a possible spoiler for someone else. So, I hope my warning in the title was ok. (BTW, with these types of specific questions, should I post them in the spoiler section since the question itself may be a bit of a spoiler???? Sorry if I've posted it in the wrong place.)

OK, here goes.

I've gotten to the Dunwich building, explored the WHOLE place (TWICE as it turns out). Found Jaime and killed him (this raises another question actually. Should I have killed him if I'm playing as a good character or was he savable??? I didn't fire until I checked my screen and he came up as a red line so I assumed he was hostile). Anyway, killed Jaime, killed everything in and under the building, listened to all 9 or 10 (can't remember exact number now) of his personal entry tapes, and they kept mentioning a "book" of some sort. So, I assumed this was something I should like to find. It wasn't on Jaime's body, it wasn't in the vicinity, and I ended up going through the whole building again checking and re-checkiing every desk, file cabinet, nook and cranny, etc. No book.

So, here's my specific question. Just would like a yes or no answer. Is there a "book" of some sort to find at the Dunwich building??? If yes, please no spoilers, I will simply go through the building again and try again.

Thanks for any help and my apologies if this should be posted in the spoilers section (I never go there, cause I don't like spoilers. :D) Anyway, if this question belongs there, I hope a mod will move it there. Thanks again.

ON EDIT: BTW, I did find a "book" of sorts in the building. It was one of those that you read that increases your skills by 2 points (1 point if you don't have the comprehend perk). Don't really think "that" was the book of which Jaime was talking about in his personal entry tapes though.

If you have Point Lookout DLC go there and there is an interesting side quest when you go to Blackhall Manor. (NOT the Calvert Mansion, that is another big house) You'll find out what the tapes ment when they talked about a "book" It's a fun side quest. (Note: If you don't have the Point Lookout DLC, then forget about the "book", as it is only relavent if you have Point Lookout DLC. Have fun!

What he said...

If you are collecting bobbleheads you might need to have another look at Dunwich.

And yes you should post these in the cheats forum.
