How long is soon?

Sorry. I just cannot accept that this is topical. This is a User to User forum. The proper respondents here aren't privy to inside information. We are here asking for PC TECH assistance from other game players, or offering suggestions in response. A question such as the above, is either rhetorical, in which case it belongs in Community Discussions, or it's serious, in which case it belongs in an eMail directed to the official gamesas tech support.

FYI, I am not a Bethesda forum moderator. Here, I am a citizen who happens to prefer that things be done the right way.

For your information, the "Game Updates" thread which has the subtitle "More info soon" just so happens to be located in Fallout: New Vegas PC Issues. So naturally, any questions regarding that post should go in this forum. The only info they have given us is that there will be more info soon. I am wondering how soon is soon? We've been waiting for info as to whether or not a patch is coming. I think they owe it to us to pop in and say "we haven't forgotten about the problems, and are still working on them" every once in a while.

For real Gorath, who are you to say that his question isn't "isn't topical" I've asking the same damn question and getting no answers, from emails or from actually talking to them over the phone. I do believe that you are on every post on this forum, being an uptight [censored]...So just how soon is soon? Just how long is soon??? how about someone from Bethesda get off their lazy asses and answer, I mean I know that none of you are actually working on a patch to fix all these damn problems that aren't letting me play this 50 dollar piece of [censored] I can't do anything with. I really don't want to wait a month of sitting on 50 dollars before I can play. So how about we get an actual estimated date on the patch, or you start offering a refund certificate, something that allows people to return this game to the retailer they bought it from and get their money back if they like.....

It's probably going to take a while guys. But you can be sure they will probably get to the gamebreaking bugs first. The next few patches might be slower than the first 2 because they probably will package more fixes. At the very least I would say before the holidays if they want it to be gifted to people before then.
