More interaction with companion

Post » Sun Jan 17, 2016 3:07 am

lol, 8 companions. If reproduction is the purpose, most of the companions are impotent, With all that radiation, I'm not even sure if the SS can even reproduce in the first place.

Females can't just poop out baby by themselves, you know? Do you want some kind of Mad Max harem fantasy or something?

I'm not sure what are you talking about, I never said reproduction is the only purpose, and I also never said I want 8 companions(I said there are "8 males" but not enough females), and who is "SS" ?

Of course females cannot reproduce by themselves, that's why I wish there are more female companions to choose for my male characters play-through, not just for reproduce but also for fun. I'm a normal straight guy and I like women far more than men.

SS is referring to the Sole Survivor. You're assuming the female would be fertile or even human, they could be a synth like curie, a robot, a ghoul, or even a super mutant. I'd rather for them to choose DLC companions based on how interesting they are instead of whether they're good looking enough to bang, but that's just me.

Your post just seems to reduce women into reproduction machines when you're talking about the apocalypse world and their role.

tbh I kind of fancy Strong, those bulging biceps and his raw aggression and stupidity, they could mod him to wear womens clothes, would that be acceptable? (I'm straight too)

There are 4 romanceable males and three romanceable females, good enough balance I think.

You seem to be counting Dogmeat (a dog!) and Codsworth (a circular butler robot who nursed your baby) and all the other non-romanceable companions as "males" up for grabs...

Also as for the males, the choice is awful - one annoying guy (Preston), a ghoul (Hancock), a guy with bad teeth who we remember as a kid from another Fallout (MacCready), and your synth grandson (Danse).

Danse is awesome. :P

I thought it was graphical glitch with MacCready, if that's actually his teeth, I'm not sure what to think.

Yeah, Hancock with his ghoul skin while Preston with his bland personality and constant quest updates. I think the straight guys really look out in fact since all 3 females are beautiful models with no physical defect or flawed programming.

No, it's your own interpretation of my post shows "you think" I reduce women into reproduction machines, but that's NOT what I mean.

I say "females are very valuable in post-apocalyptic world" because 1. I like women; 2. In a nuclear post-apocalyptic world such as wasteland, human population are greatly reduced and have to deal with very vicious threats which all endanger the survivability of our whole specie,so it's very important to repopulate and women are the only one capable to breed life, thus it's reasonable to presume "female are very valuable" in such situation.

Also I'm sure that SS(both wife and husband) are able to breed in the first place since the main quest of the game is to find their biological son who shares the similar genes with SS.

Hancock is by far the sixier of the 2 though.

No, I didn't count codsworth and dogmeat, I count "X6-88" as male since he's a male synth, so that's 8 males.

Romanceable or not is not how I define human(or synth) gender.

I don't need you to convince me how much you like women in every post.

With the amount of radiation they've been exposing to, it's quite possible they become infertile.

I think the world can carry the burden without your contribution, but as I said, the companions should be added based on how interesting they are, if they're romanceable then fine, if not, that's good, too. If you count other non-romanceable characters then you're ok if the DLC character is a sixy female who has no interest in romance? Do you concern with romanceable females or just females if you're gonna bring up non-romanceable male ones?

There are only four romanceable males. Not eight. You don't get to choose between eight.

The romanceable males aren't my choice...they're all kind of horrible bar Danse (who let's face it should be taboo anyway), I would've gone for Deacon (even though I have to kill him eventually).

I know that, but I didn't said I want to romance with 8 male companions, I only said there are 8 male companions.

Well we don't get eight anyway, we get four horrible choices. Three decent choices is better than four horrible choices, you have enough womens :brokencomputer:

I'm not convincing you how much I love women, I'm responding to your false accusation about me saying woman is only reproduction machine.

And I just wish they add more female companions, romanceable or not is not my main concern, but of course it's better if they're pretty and romanceable which also is one of the "interesting" parts.

I think it's only incist on a technical stand point, Shaun's DNA is more likely to be used as a blueprint. The person you interact with have complete different history, some even from memories of previous people or machines like Nick or Curie, you're also complete stranger, the material being them would also be different, it's not like synth can even create kids with humans. Some people consider adopted children to be incist if they ever get together after being raised as sibling. Cousins in Japan can marry each other. The definition of incist is very different. I don't consider it as incist because if you're based it off of genetics then most people are derived from common ancestor, just as with synths, the many factors that make it incist is not presented in term of raising together, materials that make up the individuals, etc. That's just up to personal interpretation at the end of the day, personally. I'm glad Danse is an option alongside MacCready. I'm not a fan of Deacon, he's a pathological liar who can become anyone but himself. Preston is definitely someone I can never romance though. Hancock is just not to my taste.

As I said, they'd probably add one option of each gender likely if an expansion with companions ever come, so I don't see the need for worrying about something like that.

It's definitely still your genetic relative...I just think Bethesda forgot when they wrote those NPCs in as romanceable, or thought we wouldn't make the connection.

Deacon just looks the most attractive, so weird they didn't offer him up to us...same with Danse, who should be off limits (though seeing as we're all doing the taboo thing eg ultimate Curie I just rolled with it). Preston is annoying and I wanted to chew my arm off after that first night. I would never with Hancock, can't get past the shrivelled bits, and MacCready has bad teeth and is kind of weedy.

Danse is a gray area, I guess, but if that's the case, killing any courser would mean killing your own children. Everything about Deacon is a lie though, even his appearance. He's bald and wear a wig most of the time, his hair is really ginger, and he wear glasses most of the time to hide himself and his appearance. I don't like people who like about who they are, what they look like, and even their life story and accomplishments. I would take Hancock over Deacon because at least Hancock is straight forward about who he is. MacCready's teeth is fixable, I guess, he just doesn't have the money to fix it since he sends all of his money to treat his son. Still, I find Danse and MacCready to be pretty good option. One is serious, while the other is playful, pretty nice contrast. The only problem I have is making Danse the only option tie to a faction. I think Danse should be available for other endings after we finish his personal quest. I love the Institute ending, but Danse just stops talking to me afterward, so it just svcks so hard.
