NO MORE...Johnny Guitar

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 11:29 am

that was in FALLOUT NV so do not worry, it drove me crazy as well

So much so I turned the music off in that game, just hated it

Todd would not do that on BGS I loved the music in Fallout 3

I never used the radio in either game so only heard the music from radios scattered around the world, it would imagine having the radio on all the time in either game would get old quite quickly.

Good point. In some sense, we're keeping their memory alive by playing their old music long after they've died. The people who first wrote 'I don't want to set the world on fire' are likely long dead, but because their music is in my head, they're gone but not forgotten.

You should really get that retirement community a 360 and the game....they would probably fight over it. They dont get out much anyway.

Out of both games, ol' Butcher Pete is still my favorite for old time wackiness.

All wasteland critters are deaf. Mutation does that to them. They can see, even the so-called "blind" deathclaws can see. So, leave that pipboy light OFF.

I mean I know game mechanic wise it has no effect. Just saying from a role play perspective it makes me feel weird wondering about the wastland listening to the jolly tunes of the 50s lol.

The first mod I'll do is I will put this song into Fallout 4, along with Butcher Pete

I know. Have you also noticed that the largest body of water you can find in a vault is in a restroom sink, yet someone who spends their entire life in a vault can swim like a fish?

Just one of those little mysteries of life, I guess.

They need to add in some Chuck Berry, the Father of Rock and Roll.

Yes, yes, I know. Elvis was the King, but without Chuck Berry people would be gushing about how good Elvis sounds saying, "Would you like fries with that?"

most of fo3 soundtrack are actually more 40ies than 50ies, some even older (some of the billie holiday tunes for example)

Anything Goes has a good beat for combat music also.

I always liked "I don't want to Set the World on Fire" while exploding heads, simply because the lyrics are just so opposite of what I was doing.

Best song in Fallout. Even better than Cole Porter's Anything Goes from Fallout 3.

Yeah, I really liked that one too. It was playing when I was slowly walking through the desert to the final battle at Hoover Dam.

I think I could cope with anything except Johnny Guitar and *shudders*... Butcher Pete. Either of those come on, I change the frigging station.

How is it "being old" a problem ? So now classical music also svcks because it's so old ?
I don't know, I liked anything Guitar related since I was a child and Johnny guitar is a beautiful song so it wasn't a hard sell to me.

Most of FO3 songs were Jazz and who didn't throw some blues leaks in the mix back then, so...

Play the guitar, play it again, my Johnny
Maybe you're cold but you're so warm inside
I was always a fool for my Johnny
For the one they call Johnny Guitar
Play it again, Johnny Guitar

What if you go, what if you stay, I love you
But if you're cruel, you can be kind, I know
There was never a man like my Johnny
Like the one they call Johnny Guitar

There was never a man like my Johnny
Like the one they call Johnny Guitar
Play it again, Johnny Guitar

God i hate Johnny Guitar. I've had it play on radio new vegas and Mojave music radio at the same time on multiple occasions, is that a bug or something?
