More moddable clothing

I'm really confused why we can't modify all base clothing with Ballistic weave. It strikes me as something that was overlooked, unless Beth has some weird desire to limit the options to specific outfits. Could we please get this fixed in a future patch? I really want to be able to mod my undershirt and jeans with the Institute Killer weave.

Made similar thread a while back.

This has to be included in the next update, ffs. I can understand for some that has minimalistic coverage.

But unfortunately, I can't see the standard of why certain clothes can be BW-ed and some are not.

I agree. But you can just wear armour over undershirt and jeans. They should have added it primarily to outfits you can't wear amour over. They have things like the atom catz outfit, brotherhood fatigues ect and they're more or less useless because you can't wear armour over them and they don't offer enough protection as is.

I'm with you. I can't understand why some outfits are moddable and some aren't. I hope they add to them because I would really like to adventure in my brotherhood fatigues or winter jacket and jeans.

I always assumed Beth wants to ground BW in some semblance of reality and have it work only on clothes thats made of particular sturdy fabrics that can support the weave *shrugs*

There are a couple of game mods that let you modify the armor modification system to modify any clothing or armor with the Ballistic Weave and other armor modifications.
