[REQ] More modern Dwemer airship.

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 8:45 am

I love mr.sika's Dwemer airship and always have it in my mods, but there is only one thing that bugs me. The airship technically can't fly, for the weight that is involved from the huge ship hanging from the envelope, which is too small to support that. I was thinking maybe a another airship can be created that is more present (since the Dwemer are much more modern than the rest of Tamriel).

Pictures of I'm talking about.

I'm terrible with CS or any type of programs for doing this stuff.

Well, the airship technically CAN fly, because a wizard did it  But I get what you're trying to say :P

If you really want to see something in your game, you just have to make it yourself. You can't expect other people to do it for you, because those modders are already well occupied with their own projects.

There is always someone who says that, and it is always when I post something never anyone else it seems. I wish I could make it but I do not have any ability in modding. I believe I mentioned that on the first post.

Actually, you can expect. Maybe someone will try.

But, you could go and try to learn yourself. You can start with http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18979 and http://www.invision.tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/19-modeling/

As with most skills it's 10% talent and 90% dedication/determination. If you have enough desire, you will succeed.

People who have worked hard to acquire the experience needed to mod, aren't usually idle. They are busy making their own dreams a reality, as well as constantly receiving requests from others who know of their talents. However, I concede that there might be someone willing to give you a hand because they might want to see the same thing in the game as badly as you do.

I have nothing against you personally. Good luck. :)

considering that the dwemer airship is one of those things at the top of oblivion modelling.....i doubt there is many people with the skill to make another one. Those peoplewith the skills often are too busy to just make something on a whim..

hell i like ot think myself okay at blender....but mr.sika's stuff is amazing.

Wait, what do you mean it can't fly? There is already somebody who fixed that so the player can control the skyship and make it fly around.

I think he meant that realistically it couldn't fly with that proportions of hull/balloon.
