More Non-Scripted Gun Fights In Fallout 4?

Post » Tue Dec 01, 2015 8:07 am

In Fallout 4, I want to see those non-scripted events where an enemy faction fights each other. Remember in New Vegas, when you're on your way to Novac, you see NCR Merchants, and Legion fight? It was scripted, but it gave me a glimpse of how the factions worked in New Vegas. I would love to see it in Fallout 4, seeing the Brotherhood Of Steel fight raiders would be awesome.

well in the trailer we see raiders being attacked and attacking a robot even after the player shows up they continue to fight the robot until the player character interferes so im sure you have nothing to worry about.. and with randomized attacks on your settlement (that will also have its own guards/defenses) im sure youll be seeing alot of npc combat.

There were non-scripted fights in Fallout 3 as well if I'm not mistaken. If any faction members were out in the Wasteland and encountered an enemy member, they'd just fight to the death. I've seen Outcasts from BoS members (only rarely when they encounter each other near Megaton) and Enclave fight Super Mutants when they're wandering the Wastes.

The best fight was the three-way between the Talon Company, Super Mutants and the Enclave at the Capitol Building but, unfortunately, that was scripted!

I'm pretty sure there will be scripted gunfights while doing quests, especially main ones.

If you think about it, they didn't change their engine from Skyrim, although it was actually FO:NV's engine modified a bit.

Most "scipted" fights are just two groups who is inactive until you come close, many other are just enemies getting too close to each others.

Fallout 3 had raiders hit an enclave outpost and then use their power armor.

Skyrim had an insane 4 way fight: Imperials got hit by dragon, followed it, dragon hist vampires all three start to fight, after the dragon is dead, stormcloaks join the fun, hitting the remaining vampires from the other side. The stormcloaks had just been in another fight as they was wounded and got killed by the imperials even trough the imperials had been trough an hard fight themselves.

They've been using the same engine since Morrowind.

Don't say that too loud, they're listening to us.

Just say it's been ''lightly'' modified...
