Just did level 1 and 2 there first try and with a minute or two to spare :flamethrower: Ive only been playing the game 90 minutes or so, just got it there now, I'm level 6 I think.

I did this and all @ lvl 12.

I did it as a Heavy using the Hjammerdeim. DON'T finish incapped enemies if you can avoid doing so. Incapacitated enemies wait around a while before respawning in the challenges.

Gun down anyone who's in sight, then, as a Heavy, you should have enough health to survive the repair objective.

Then when you're hacking, again, make sure everyone is gunned down before placing the hackbox. Turn right, and circle around to the back of the structure the box is on, and crouch in the corner. You should still be close enough to complete the hack, but you're in a position with a very limited arc in which the enemy can attack. A little luck and the hack will be complete. Then you just have to hope one of your Medics buffs you when you're making the run with the intel, or hope you die and can respawn fast enough to get it done before the time's up.

I found the 2-star Be more to be harder than the 3-star. with the 2-star, the hack objective is right next to their spawn, and is the hardest part. In the 3-star, the repair objective is next to their spawn instead, which they cant undo.

The basic plan for bots is to stay back and use a long range weapon to pick them off as quickly as possible while staying behind friendly bots. When there's an opening, go in and do the objective. It may take a while, but when there's an opening, you can usually get to around 50% without bother. Alternatively, you can wait for the two teams to get distracted with each other and run in to go do it; the bots will not disengage to take care of the objective.

The one thing i think needs to be added to the "hide" idea is that it only worked for me on the 2-star if there was a friendly bot with you to distract the enemy. Otherwise, they tended to smoke me before i could even pull out my gun.

First off: Take a deep breath. Second: you can do it! I beat all of the 3 Stars which are ridiculously hard. Think veteran difficulty on CODMW. Enemy always hit you in the head with auto aim. Here's what you do to beat this challenge.

1. Choose a Light Body Type.

2. Run like hell to plant the bomb and ignore everything else, just plant it. As soon as its planted run and turn and throw a frag. Get practiced at cooking the grenades by holding them in your hand so that when they explode, they kill instead of knock down.

3. As soon as the bomb is about to blow up run like hell towards it. (All the objectives you MUST be a parkour ninja). If you are getting hung up on the environment, then you are gonna have trouble with the objectives. Practice the Parkour challenge until you are a ninja.

4. Once you are the engineer look to set up a turret and a mine in a key place, facing the stairs, or their spawn, something to slow down those bots! Keep in mind that the terminal fix is a progress meter. So you can make progress, any progress is better than none even if you die. Rinse and repeat, always after respawning, look to place a turret. The instinct naturally is to strafe or back off from enemies as they are attacking. But the bots penalize you with that. You have to train yourself to push forward instead and more of your bullets will connect and the ai will get mowed down. Get it fixed. Your true enemy is the clock!

5. Change to an Operative. This is the hardest part of the challenge because of all the work you did to get this far. Don't lose hope if you fail. But here's what I did. Try to get a disguise. And always Parkour towards the hack via your spawn on top of the map. There will be a bot on top waiting for you, you have to take him out quick. Cook your grenades so they blow up with more impact. Once you get the hack on. Crouch down. Back up and take cover near the box. Look towards their spawn so you can avoid gunfire from below. The AI is dumb when you crouch. And just pray that a team mate comes up to sort of draw the enemy fire. Don't get mad at your teammates; they are dumb bots. Just watch that meter. Once it fills up, run like a bat out of hell to change to a medic. Parkour like a ninja from your spawn area the boxes near it, and get to the data box. The rest is just Parkouring. Head towards your spawn with the data because it is closet to your spawn.

That worked for me. Have faith. It will happen.

I finished be more objective #1 in two tries, and be more objective #2 in three tries, didnt really seem all that difficult other than the [censored] AI on your team not providing any real cover fire and having to do everything yourself.

Still, my brother and a friend have both had serious issues with that game type, took my brother half a dozen tries to beat #2 and my friend still hasnt finished it.

I think it'd be ok if you still got the unlocks for completing it in co-op, but unfortunately you're forced to do the mission with stupid AI to get any of the attachments or weapons.

After all these threads I think it really boils down to the skill of the player. Although I have to say that I had more difficulty with BMO 2* than BMO 3*. Although thats prolly cause I was level 7 for BMO 2* and level 18 for BMO 3*.

finished all of these on 3 stars with a fresh character who was lvl 6 after it all.

I had completed BMO 2* with two low level guys, but hadn't finished it with my "main" until a few minutes ago when I managed to complete it with 6:50 left on the clock.

He's a light level 19 with soldier/Engi/Op skills, but it's the Op skills that really become most needed because the caltrops and sticky grenade really help clearing the Hack Box area. You can sprint to the first charge and plant it before they get there, then just fight your way to the repair spot and keep repairing until you die, using weapon buffs on yourself and team as you go, and then it's a matter of knocking down the whole enemy team to get the box on and then taking cover behind the building until you finish the hack.

If the team A.I. did anything it would be much easier, but since we go out with a soldier and two medics, none of which seem to ever use their skills, I'd say the challenge is a bit broken to say the least.

During the hack you can switch to your gun and get rid of guys then switch back and continue hacking. For the other objectives you pretty much have to down everyone then rush in and start, and you should only start getting shot when you finish.

you can also hack a bit round the corner. i found the light body the easiest (i did it about level 15). run straight to the bomb and plant it.

to hack you need to clear out the area then start hacking and killing the enemy. if you stand a bit round the corner it really helps (nearer the command post) i was also moving around a bit to stop them aiming as easily. it also helps when your team give you some cover.

also i have 2 level 20 chars and i am really not that bad in this game but this mission svcks hard ....
i've got a little piece of paper in front of me and i counted 58 tries to get this two stars challange but i still failed ...
i am not able to repair that ... kinda ... barrel ... thing ... on second floor. cause this cheater-bots are ignoring my ai-team completly. building a turrent ... yeah ... well ... minigun-turret ... only get it build one time but it stands there only, let me guess, 4 seconds?!? .. i followed all the problably helpfull tips over here ... whatched some movies on several websides from guys who are done with this ... nothing really helped.
and so long after all this trys i lost the feeling having fun playing brink.
sounds hard but it really hurts if i see people ... getting nothing to work in versus mode but these guys have got the weapons i tried to get (say it again:) 58 times.
this mission has nothing to do with a challenge ... its 90% luck and 10% timing ... i hope they will change something, cause i think its the only way for me to get this (finally) done.
(by the way ... i need a new game-pad ... the last one ehm ... is still hanging over in a tree in front of my window -.-)
