Be More Objective (2*)

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 5:49 am

So, i've tried the 2* Be more objective mission at least 30 times. Something wrong, i cant get near the objectives with out getting just flayed alive. My allies arnt helping me or covering my back at all, but i've seen videos of people doing it just fine. I figured somethings wrong with my strategy.

How do you guys do it? I just wana know what tips/tactics you guys have. Its the last bit of gear that i need, and i'll have all the equipment.

I'm having the most problems with the hack objective. I cant get near the box with out dieing, and if i do, i definently cant get away. The few times i have planted it, my guy instantly dropped the hacking device for some reason. Either way, i've never gotten close.

You, and I are in the same boat OP. By the time I hack the vault (the last part) there is no time, I literally mean NO TIME left in the challenge lol. My "team" likes to just sit back in the spawn for some reason for most of the mission... It's really starting to piss me off because I want to try the Bulpdaun so bad :(

Yeah, this Challenge is hell. Friendly AI are bulletsponges (Especially medics, who'll stand there before dying instead of throwing you a syringe). Teammates never go past the first floor, or attempt to escort you.

Problem is, every time I do this with other people it doesn't seem to register what * it is. It's as if it's automatically set to ***. Therefore getting the Bulpdaun is practically impossible.

I love this game, but I want my damn Bulpdaun.
Bumping this topic.

Is it the one where you have to cap each objective and try each class?

If it is, take advantage of each class's primary function.

For example:

Soldier: Throw a grenade near the enemy's position before capping. That'll buy you some time when they get knocked down.

Engineer on the 2nd floor: Clear the way by throwing a grenade at the stairs and spraying. When it's clear, spawn a sentry on a chokepoint and/or plant mines near the stairs. That should distract them a bit and remember to duck while you repair.

Operative: Remember that you can hack at a distance. As soon as it's clear, start the hack and get behind the objective, on the other side of the wall/objective. Your teammates should provide them some nice fodder while you cap slowly.

Something besides the obvious would be great... It's not like we don't know what to do, the problem is getting it done while you are being swarmed by 8 guys with no help from your "team". My "team" buffs themselves more than they buff me...

it took a while but i managed to get it. I'd say this is what playing without a team is like. Annoying, frustrating, and down right dumb. So when we can actually play online, please remember that teammates matter

The challenge is actually a test to see if you're able to be an efficient killer and capper.

Time your kills and plan ahead. This isn't CoD. You need to prepare yourself and be a strong independent capper. Spam your nades and find an opening. I do sound vague but that quick thinking is what separates a smart player from a rambo.

Also, it's ok to cap only 5%. It's better than to have died miserably since it's cumulative and you can't unhack it compared to the operative >_<

I hate this one with a passion and am stuck on it as well, except I can't even get near the generator without being turned into bullet cheese. :(

Friendly AI might as well not be their, and doing re challenges online is worthless as it doesn't unlock anything or even set it to your challenge lvl

The soldier one was easy for me. Sprint to it, plant the charge, and by then, they show up, so defense is easy.

Engineer, Mines and Damage buff and I'm done in seconds.

Operative, I have ~8-9 minutes. Best I've done was ~30% then my teammates died, and their team massacred me while breaking my hack so I had to restart.

Bumping this b/c I have a PS3 and cant beg friends for help.

Ok, now you're pissing me off. I know exactly how to play this game, and exactly what to do, I've been breezing through the campaign on Hard, and I don't play CoD (I hate it in fact). So stop pointing out such obvious things because it is no help.

The last part of this challenge is just horse [censored].

It only took me two tries, but it has alot to do with luck. Your best bet is to rush plant the bomb over and over again until it works. Than the generator should be easy because its uptop now and no ones up there. Next, run through enemy fire and plant the hack device and hide behind the command post crate. Just avoid enemies any way possible while staying near the device. Should an engineer mess with you just sprint and kill them and take out the device again. This takes alot of maneuvering and general skill/knowledge. Finally just grab the intel run uptop and kill anyone in your way, using the boxes as cover. Then download the intel from behind the tall box. Its hard, its annoying, and it takes some luck, but you should be able to complete it.

I did the ** version just fine on my first try. Likewise, I can't solo through the campaign on hard because my bots are complete numbskulls whom can't leave a CP alone for 2 damn seconds until AFTER they take it, then it gets taken back by (surprise) competent enemy AI and then they focus on it all over again.

There's really no reason why at any given moment the medic bots are 70m from the main objective. Really.

I actually played the game sort of like call of duty: take cover, pop shots, etc.

I have tried this countless times with fruitless results. Are you playing as a Heavy or something? The Engineers either break my hack before I can get over(All 15ft of it) or kill me within 5 seconds as their entire team unloads on me while my bots just kinda....watch with popcorn.

I found the 2** underwhelming. Especially the Parkour This one. Try using a medium and parkour up the crates and onto the railings to get around the enemies and shoot a few before you try the objective. Don't fight head on and if you die, don't take the same path 2 times in a row.

1. Rush the door right out of the gate and plant the HE charge RIGHT AWAY

2. Drop back half way from the distance of the door and the spawn

3. Camp the HE charge until it blows

4. Clear a path and switch to Engineer FAST

5. Get out of the room

6. Run to the outside edges of the map

7. Locate the Generator

8. Clear a parth to said Generator

9. Get up to the Gengerator

10. Fight off the next wave of attackers

11. Repair until another wave comes or if you can finish it before they come back

12. Run back and switch to Operative

13. Instead of going up the closest stair case fight off any eniemes and get up with the other stairs.

14. Get to the hack box and kill any threats.

15. Start the hack

16. you should be able to finish it before another wave comes but just watch your back in case

17. Jump down and grab the intel

18. Repeat steps 13-15

19. Congrats enjoy your bulpdaun its GREAT :D

Here is what i did equip an smg and a light rifle the bolt action one. While hacking dont be afraid to go and hide your signal will go down and you may hack slower but it works or you can be stupid like me and just hope around like a idiot in front of the hack box. try to take out a few enemies before going after the objective and dont respawn just wait for a medic it keeps you in the game and the AI is pretty decent about revives.
