More places like Markarth Abandoned House.

Seriously, that place kicks ass. As short as the introduction to Ol' Mollie's quest is, it's one of my favorite locations in the game.
People who've played Fallout 3 know that Betesda can do such locations very well, as shown by Dunwich Building and Point Lookout. Shame there aren't any more places like these in Skyrim.

EDIT: Mollie's voice actor did helluva good job. Really fits the character. Into the bowels!

Agreed.

Before I moved to the PC that was, and is still, my favorite vanilla home.

Indeed.

Skyrim's House of Horrors is just about the only possible scary place in the game :(

I agree as well.

We need more places like that.

First time that I went in there, I was like "Oh god, what the hell is going on! :ahhh: "

You mean like scary places? I think the Dunwich Building was one of my worst (not bad, great in fact, just [censored] scary) gaming experiences when it first came out. I would move so slowly down those halls, just sweating.

I wholeheartedly agree though, the game needs more spaces like that. Love that quest.

Yah. By the time I first got to that building, it was 1AM and I had by then installed the famous FWE mod which basically meant that my character was going to get his ass kicked by almost every enemy in the game and due to scarcity of ammo I had to rely on a combat knife to make do. Bloody exciting, never been that much on my toes in any non-horror game I've played.
I admit that I didn't even dare to enter the lowermost floor. I abandoned the building by the time I got to the second and didn't go all the way down until much later. I've been intending to go there again now that I have not been there for ~3 years.

Aha, I'm glad I'm not alone. I have never explored the whole place. The only time I went in there properly was when a certain female friend of mine was watching. Acting all macho and all that. I couldn't bare it. Had to play music really loud to comfort myself as I ran out the building.

I can still hear the growling of the bloody ghouls now. It's a shame there isn't really scary enemies either in Skyrim. There is nothing scary whatsoever about Draugr in my opinion. No redeeming quality. Give me headless zombies that make ridiculous gargling noises and groans that echo down hallways. Not Draugr.

Shame about the rest of the quest. I was just sorry that the intro was so short!

Draugr are lame because there is no shock value in them. Feral Ghouls came completely out of nowhere, usually from behind you. You hear the growl and you know you're screwed, especially if it's a Reaver. I remember my first Feral, I was going around in a subway when I passed a collapsed tunnel. Much to my dismay I missed the feral ghoul waiting in ambush there, and then came the scream and something started punching me from behind. I just started shooting around like mad and ran out of the subway, not to return until I realized that it's the only way to get into downtown D.C. :D

Thing abut Draugr is that they are so slow and unpredictable. No shock value, at all. Like everything else in Skyrim, come to think of it.
