More RP please..

So i wish to have more RP in some situations. For example my wife seems more manly then i do.. "Here is your food, here is your money... Now get out of here and get yourself killed..". Why not implement some social stuff with the wife? For example:

* IF your character is away for to long without saying even hello.. Make your wife grumpy, make her send a courier or something to notify you.
* Make it a must to occasionally sit down and have a dinner with her?
* Make your wife react to things you do, for example defending your hometown against a dragon, join the civil war (On any side?) and have different reactions depending on which side you chose to fight for.
* Make your wife worry when your assaulting / defending a city (Specially defend)

ALOT more can be added, and it would be awesome if they released "addons" like they did in Oblivion.. Examples of these can be:

* Take over a farm with your wife.. Grow stuff =) just basic that you need to tend from time to time (If your tired of the basic RP stuff.. Go there, talk, kill)
* Join a town guard: Make it a requirement to if you are working, you need the city uniform.. Else you wont get payed (Just an idea) And when your tired of walking the streets, ask for a "leave" to keep on dungeon fighting.. (Ofc the captain of the guards must understand, your a dragon slayer damnit :) ). When you are a guard, make things happen.. Spontanious murderers, theft and whatnot :)

While I like to roleplay, I would not like being forced to.

Why not just use your imagination for most of the things you want? Like sitting down for dinner.

Well nobody is forcing anyone :)
Example of the wife thing.. the only reason i actually even have one in Skyrim is to give me occasional gold.. But provides nothing more usefull really.. Whats the point of marry someone in Skyrim in the first place, if not for the RP

I'd be happy if they just provided some different marriage dialogue. Sure I can just roleplay everything myself, but if I'm the one constantly coming up with all these ideas, then what have I paid for in this game? The system for which to roleplay by myself? At least when I buy a roleplaying system from Palladium games I have the chance of interaction with other people.

What the OP is asking isn't ridiculous, this is a roleplaying game after all. A courier bringing a note from your wife would be nice, hell I'd be happy if they limited the wife options down to less than ten and fleshed out those specific wives. Made them feel real, made the chemistry between the characters feel real. Instead it just feels to me like it's a whole deal where they don't have anything better to do.

"You wanna get married?"
"We hardly know each other..."
"So what?"
"Good point, why not."

That's how it feels to me right now. I mean sure, most of the wives require some sort of quest, but that's still barely any interaction and I shouldn't have to create all of that interaction myself.
