I have recently started playing around with mods again and while getting a few basic ones off tesnexus I also came across the Vesta Armor[ http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=25062 ]. I love the design, though it feels a bit unrealistic since it is entirely smooth, no nicks/scratches and such. The mid section also feels like it could use a bit more plating or some sort of covering, especially, to be blunt, around the butt region. I could also do without the wings on the back and the sections between the armor plates feel a bit too smooth as well. Basically as the topic title states, I would love to see a more realistic version of this armor.
(NIHS has already stated that anyone is free to edit and redistribute also, in case there might be any concerns.)

I'm trying to keep the anime/cartoon look that seems to be rather popular out of my game while still being able to make use of this armor in particular. It would be great for my knight-ish character I want to make but the armor as it is now just doesn't feel like it fits in.
I used to be a bit more crafty with edits such as this back when I was playing Morrowind but alas, this is beyond my skill.

If anyone else is interested or is willing to take on the edit I would be very grateful.

But yeah, I see what you mean about... the rest. If I was a Knight in that gear, um, well. I'd be wanting long-range weapons and magic to be what's between me and certain death. NOT, y'know, melee.

Definitely trying to use more practical armor rather than skimpy eye candy.
Though I love everything else about the armor, aside from the noted protection issues I feel like it is a solid armor set while not being too bulky and taking away from the female form.
