Looking back on those screenshots ... what has FRAPS/imageshack done to the quality?! They looked a LOT better than that when I took them in-game O.o
I run in to this with standard in-game captures. Some look fine as is, others not so fine. The not-so-fine shots get manipulated in PAINT.NET (and sometimes GIMP for more complicated corrections). PAINT's manual "level" control (not the automatic one, which produces horrid results with Oblivion captures) works wonders with most Oblivion images, restoring them to what I recall seeing on-screen during game-play. Since I invariably reduce image size to conserve storage space I also use PAINT to slightly sharpen the now shrunk views, as the reducing process tends to blur them. (I believe PhotoBucket automatically reduces images over certain size, but I prefer to keep control of the end result.)
I still feel bad for the others

Oh, well...

I like those forest ferns, possibly one of few surviving remnants of Cyrodiil being covered by jungle? My version of Cyrodiil lacks most of those ferns, they having been replaced by select bits and pieces from Lush & Gaudy Landscape. (I find L&G in its totality a bit
too gaudy for my tastes, but use some of its grasses to give the landscape dramatic flair.) Next time I feel up to monkeying around with mod manipulation I'm gonna have to see if I can restore at least some ferns without removing the better L&G grasses.
Here's a current play-through image of http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn303/Decrepit_Waste/ESIV%20Oblivion/DepositingRelics1.jpg. Mixed feelings there, but Imperial Dragon armor was better suited to his ever increasing role as road patrolman and tax gatherer. Besides, should the need arise he can return to the Priory and reclaim his gear, provided the Nine still deem him worthy.
