A man runs up to you in a fritting frantic frenzy, he starts to gasp then starts grumbling, girbling gibberish and talking very fast,
PC: says : 1.are you on something? 2.Are you all right your speaking gibberish? 3.Shut the [censored] up! 4.Dumb Dialogue: You want nuka cola?
he then asks for " nukanukanuk-anuka-c-co-co-cola-a, do -do-d-d-do you-ou-ou-o have-v Any-y!

PC: 1.you give him some nuka-cola, if in your inventory.

2. Sorry dont have any.

3. I dont think you need any clam down.

4. [censored] off freak.

If you give him some he goes into a even freakier fritting frantic frenzy, starts spinning in circles spout out even more girbling, grievious, grumbling, gibberish. Then yells a great yell, and his head pops off. like when you take a bottle opener and pop the cap off a bottle.
If not he runs off at lightening speed and you never can catch him or learn what becomes of him.

This one is great but if you choose to let him die he should have either some of a unique drug or a not or holo-tape explaining his condition

I think some raider-types should be none-hostile at first, demanding that you hand over your stuff, if you do, they may or may not kill you, if you don't you'll 100% have to fight them off. In the same vein, I'd like to get ambushed, like properly. There should be spots where NPCs can hide, like the idle anim spots but for hiding, and if the PC walks into an area trigger that is linked to them, all the NPCs hiding in them come out and do what I stated above. This way you would be surrounded and fighting them off wouldn't necessarily be a very good option. A high Charisma skill might let you convince them that you only have a couple of things, and lets you keep most of your stuff, I dunno, could be fun.

Also, some randomly generated ones like in Red Dead Redemption, like saving a kid from being kidnapped, or saving some lone adventurer who's running from raiders or C's Legion, or seeing a caravan under attack by some malicious faction and being able to save them, maybe the option to take either side in these encounters.

I completely agree. Whenever I got "ambushed," I never actually talked them down, or gave up my stuff. It was always so much easier to kill them. I would love to be put in a situation where I have to think strategically instead of just mowing down everyone in my way.

a ragged man runs up to you and starts a dialog

"damn these random encounters, shouldn′t have pickt such a low luck, and now I′m out of action points, okey your turn"

he will then just stand there and let you shoot him, if you take to long time or don′t kill him after the first shot he pulls out a gun and yells

"okey stand still, it′s my turn!"

while engaging in combat.

Have you checked out the orginal "Special Random Encounters" thread? ===> http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1077616-special-random-encounters/page__hl__Machine%20Robot. At the End of that thread is the link of thread two.

A dirty, beaten up, old chevy van pulls up next to you. A filthy man wearing a stained and ripped wife beater calls out the window and asks if you can help him find his puppy.

I take it that the dude is a Cho-Mole

Your walking along on your quest when you reach a river. you go into a dock/fishing hut where you find a bloody and beaten vollyball. If your perception is high enough you notice there is a hole and something is inside the vollyball. You take it out and its a holotape, you play it.
*play* "Willsoooooon!!! Willsooooon!!! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! WILSON............
(in a demons voice) YOUR NOT SORRY!............NOT YET.

There was an exploiting UFO in F3? How come I've never seen or heard of it!!! Probably a mod <_<

No, it just took a lot of loading and re-loading in certain spots to get the encounter to happen. When it did happen, you got blaster cells and the firelance (alien blaster that set guys on fire).

(Inspired by Styles)

You came across a crashed plane with the californian presidencial seal on it. You enter the plane and see some skeletons and an unusually preserved body. A closer look reveals that it is in fact a robot. If you have a repair skill of 75 or higher you can attempt to repair it, but it will just twitch and say "I'll be back" and shutdown again. If you have a repair skill of 100 you can make him function and you win your very own Terminator companion :)

You came across a black, blind man called Danzel who:

[Good karma]: asks you to guard a book for him, since you can do it better than himself, for it is a very powerfull thing and after 30 years he does not need it anymore. This book called "Book of Danzel" gives you +2 Charisma and +2 Luck while in your inventory
[Neutral karma]: Just makes small talk
[Bad karma]: Will ask you to get out of his way and will attack you if you try to rob him. We will attack with a unique blade called Danzel's Blade. You can not loot the book. But you can loot the blade ;)

A Star Trek Federation crash site with 3 dead officers (3 uniforms :D) and a phaser. Inside the auxiliar ship you would find a computer with a few log entrys. Something along this lines:

"Science Officer's Log, we are exploring planet Earth no 3. This is the third similar solar sistem we find, includind our own. This "Earth" diverged from our own arround the fifties, after world war II, Unlike the other "Earth" who diverged from ours in the seventies. This planet has expirecinced, like our own, an atomic apocalipse, but they are yet to recover from it. looks like there is only one "Earth" left to expirience such event. The discovery of similar sistems wich evolved in the almost exact same way (until a certain point) sugests the existence of an ancient alien race that organised and controled human evolution. Some kind of experiment perhaps. We may never find the answer."

"Science Officer's Log #2, we have discovered a strange radiation coming from this sistems sun. Aparently, over time, it changed the life forms DNA on the planet. for example, while large amount of radiation kills a normal human beeing, here some may become what indigenous call "ghouls". Animals may increase in size (a lot!) and plant may became sentient. Fascinating."

"[Screaming] USS... Bzzz... Can you hear me? Bzzz... We're going down! We're going down! We're goi...Bzzz..."

After you step away a few meters the whole thing will dematirialize (bodys and ship).

actualy, how could the vault 77 guy even be around in fallout3, he went into the vault 200 years ago yet the the raiders in fallout3 act like he came out of the vault 5 years before you visited paradisefalls. unless that holotape and jump suit are like 200 years old.

now i could see you meeting his desendants who ride ontop of ants and wield vault boy puppets.

But remember the crazed overseer from vault 112 was 200 years old due to a fail safe, so it can be possible. :celebration:

........... he was inside a "stasis" pod with mind uplinking virtual world systems. he even states thats its been so long that if any of them left the pods they would die shortly there after.
the failsafe only keeps him from dieing if hes killed in the virtual world. thus if the kill all occupants fail safe is triggered everyone but him will die.
so actually, your argument fails.

the only way you might meet him is if hes been turned into a ghoul

I would like to see one where a strange ship crashes or lands (you can not tell) and when you approach you hear a predator roar and see a ghost like figure run off in the distance.(it appears to be using a stealth boy). If you approach he small pod-like ship a couple facehuggers run up and if you don't kill them both they jump on your face and if when you wake up and wait two minutes (real-time) a chestburster pops out of your chest. You then get a pop-up that says "Oh No! You have died due to a strange alien being! Do you wish to play on like this? Yes
No But you cannot use weapons, your intelligence is dropped to 2, all your weapon skills are dropped to 0, unarmed is boosted to 95, all quests are removed, people become hostile, you will occasionaly hear "The Call Of The Matriarch" and are given a quest, instead of a pip-boy it will be an animation which goes into to your brain, armor cannot be worn, your brothers will be scattered across the wasteland, you cannot carry weapons ammo or armor, when you bleed it is acid and hurts all around you except you and your brothers, you can create companions (after finding the queens nest) by carriying eggs in your hands which hatch when you lay down your egg near someone and predator will hunt you down once every month (in game) if you do defeat him you get the choice to kill him or harvest him and he will become your predalien companian.
If you do not kill both facehuggers and evade them you will find many of the aliens scattered around the wasteland. You can chase down predator and when, if, you catch up with him (depending on your speech skill) befriend him and have him as a companian, help him in his hunts, fight him, convince him to open up shop, attempt (hint, hint) to rob him.

Or one were a ghoul who lost all his clothes in a bet wants you to get them back your way. He will give you a set of dice that knock out your opponet allowing you to cheat...
