More Thalmor, more blood and more death

Post » Sat Jan 25, 2014 2:18 pm

So, I'm strolling around in Solstheim when two Thalmor Justiciars approached me. I never thought I see Thalmor agents in Solstheim. Anyway, they lead me to their boss, an Altmer Thalmor called Ancarion. Apparently he stole a map or journal from the Skaal on how to make Stalrhim weapons and armor. There are two options. Kill Ancarion and his little group or co-operate with him and sell Stalrhim weapons and armor. So, what did you do with Ancarion and the other Thalmor agents...and why?

I love the Thalmor, they make excellent target practice, and a wonderful stress reliever.

The supremacist Thalmor always get annihilated by my characters especially my Imperials. Sacking the Imperial city and having Skyrim next in the cross hairs does that. :)

I didn't know there was a possibility to cooperate with them. I have done the quest twice and both times they were hostile towards me. I assume it's because I redeemed the smith before meeting Ancarion.

I made a deal with them. Whenever there is an option to settle things peacefully, my diplomatic character usually takes it. That's not to say that one of my less diplomatic characters won't take them out in the future.

You obviously have not seen me passionately defend their cause, have you?

As for the question, it depends. Usually I simply leave them alone as my characters tend to seriously not give a damn. My Elven characters make a deal with them and cooperate.

It's not a cause. It's a group of crazy skooma addicts who believe they where gods.

They were gods. Everyone was.

It is a cause. They're sick of Mannish supremacy, and rightly so.

Gave them the weapons, Nords probably stole the knowledge on how to make Stalrhim anyway.

Threatened Ancarion, and he told me he'd leave. Shortly thereafter I slaughtered them all and laughed maniacally.

Had a high elf character once though that cooperated and sold them some stalhrim.

I told 'em to flake off, and they did. Didn't want to commit any acts of war, since the Empire needs to rebuild its strength before it spanks the Dominion.

I took them all out, stripped them and looted everything I could. I hate the Thalmor.

I made a deal with him. My axe goes in his head and he's liberated from mortal existence for a while. Win-win.
