No more weapon skills

It's about offering wish fulfillment; (and never saying 'no' only... "Not yet").

I backed it, and have it installed; and it's the best Fallout game I've played in years... but it isn't one.

*Sadly it's not really a good Wasteland sequel ~for much the same reason as the recent Fallout titles fall short of their own series.
(WL2 is what FO3 should have been, but more polished [by Bethesda], and in the Fallout world setting; but it's missing ties with WL1 ~aside from a bit of the fiction.)

I get it. It was sort of an unsatisfying mix of the two. Regardless of whether or not you like the actual gameplay it's still canon. At least you can enjoy how the story unfolds.

gopher has a good video on his youtube channel explaining how the new system worked and why it was a smarter more elegant way than the old skillpoints dumping , turn out he was mostly correct in his anolys

There is WAY too much we still do not know about this system to proclaim a video blogger is "mostly correct" on anything.

I seriously doubt we will have the definitive answers on weapon "skills", combat perks and RT combat calculations until the game releases (tho Beth might show their hand early just for the hype push).

I suspect we will get a decent preview once the videoclips covering SPECIAL and the perks connected to them start rolling out.
