Morgiah and Firsthold

http://www.imperial-library.info/obbooks/game_dinner.shtml is a nice book, and it's first few paragraphs recalls how Morgiah married into one the lineages of Sumurset.

Though details of what transpired are imperfect, it is clear that Elysana won the battle and became Queen, banishing Helseth and Barenziah. Barenziah's only other child, Morgiah, had already left court to marry and become Queen of the Summurset Isle kingdom of Firsthold.

Really? I find it hard to reconcile this after all the recent talk of Altmeri socially demands of pure bloodlines we've seen here recently. Did she marry into an Imperial line? Either way, the Altmer couldn't possibly have taken it lightly.

I have another question. A Game at Dinner's author constantly refers "Dhaunayne" as a "dark liege" and "unholy"... Aside from the usual stereotypes regarding these epithets, I think it's Dhaunayne Aundae from Sheogorad. Would it be justified to think this?

Keep in mind that Aundae's location in Sheogorad was close to the Ashlands, where this book, for some reason made it's first appearance.

The original letter to the mysterious Dhaunayne was copied and began circulating around the Ashlands of Vvardenfell a few months ago.

Now, lastly, what has this vampire to do with House Dres, Helseth and spying?

Morgiah married King Reman of Firsthold. As to the Altmer grumbling about their queen being Dunmeri (and subsequently, all the heirs) you could read http://www.imperial-library.info/obbooks/firsthold_revolt.shtml

In Daggerfall Morgiah made a deal with Mannimarco and sacrificed "her first" to him.

It is speculated that this deal with Mannimaro is what allowed her to become Queen of Firsthold.

Here is the original letter from Daggefall:

King of Worms,

I agree to your terms. I will give you my first and you will exert your influence on the King of Firsthold on Sumerset Isle. Only you can let him speak with his dead son. For that, he would even marry Nulfaga!

And there is more on Morgiah in the PGE 3
constructive, surely, is the acceptance of new cultures and races onto its shores, some occupying positions that would have been forbidden just a century ago. The Queen of Firsthold, for example, is the Dunmer Morgiah, daughter of Barenziah and sister of the King of Morrowind, Helseth. Her children, Goranthir and Rinnala, though half-Altmer, are fully Dunmer in appearance, and stand to inherit the throne.

It was part of the Daggerfall main quest to help Morgiah get married to the King of Firsthold. She agreed to give the King of Worms her first child, the King of Worms agreed to let the King of Firsthold talk to his dead son, and the Kng of Firsthold agreed to marry Morgiah. You act as the go between for Morgiah and the King of Worms, and get an invitation to their wedding later.

Now I am actually interested, why are her children completely dunmer looking? Could it be that she's cheating on the poor king :hubbahubba:

That's because in TES, the child always takes the race of the mother. A khajiit male and a redgaurd female's child will look completely redgaurd, with maybe slight feline-like features.

You should've chosen a more definite example to show your point. Those ideas come from the same book stating that's uncertain pairing. :)
