Morning all you weekend warriors

As for me, I have failed a mage quest (my first failure) and am ashamed to show my face in Wayrest. The dungeon crawl netted me almost 20,000 gold so in that way it was worth it. One of the royals in Sentinal has sent me a note saying he might have some news about that annoying ghost in Daggerfall. I've been keeping an eye out for a place to settle down and buy a house as I've been slowly making my way around to the Sentinal region. Last week, I took all my money out of the Wayrest bank and today will be checking out Satakalaam. If it rains a lot there, I might put my money in the bank for a while and explore that region. I love rain and the houses have a lot of moss on them. Depending upon how long I can be exploring the land today, I might look at Totambu as well. The people don't seem overly friendly to me in Mournoth. In fact, they've been down right rude. What's up with these people and their attitude about Bretons? I don't look much different then they do - only lighter.

"Planning" is the wrong term, since I just got back from it, but I just got back from one of those wonderful Daggerfall dungeon crawls, this time to try and find a boy that needed to be ransomed from orcs. There weren't any of those, nor could I find the boy, but there were plenty of harpies. Lots and lots of harpies. Unfortunately, I didn't have a weapon that could hurt harpies yet, so I had to do the dungeon crawl twice - once while running like crazy from any harpies I might run across (though, amusingly, I got a Daedra Lord - not sure why I ran across one of those at this level - to "kill" himself with his magic), and another time with a shiny new dwarven katana that did the job nicely, though, as I said, without any luck with the quest. Ah, well. At least I got a successful quest done with the Temple of Kynareth, finding a lost archaeologist (again, the game loves to give me that one for some reason), and did a couple dips into dungeons just on my own time for money and levelling purposes. My goal is to hit level 3 and get the main quest going, which is a little slow since I have a custom class that makes levelling about as slow as the game allows. Sure is nice to have regeneration and immunity to a lot of magic, though. <_<
