Morrowind and Expansions Quiz # 64

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 2:57 am

Hehe, okay then.

I am made from some volcanic ore,
I am for the rich,
Too expensive for the poor,
You foes will cower before my might,
Actually it wont be a long fight,

What am I?

Hint: You could say it is quite "spiritual".

This is not one of my best. :(

would it be daedric weapons? the ore is ebony and the spiritual part is when its combined with the spirit of a daedra.

Okay, since Pakrat has not posted a nerw question I guess I'll have another shot. ;)

This may be hard or it may not be hard.

My Grandfather is the hunter,
His mother is his game,

Who are the three people?

Okay since clearly no-one knows the answer to my question I am leaving to floor open.

The answer to my previous question was;

The answer revolves around the quest "Blood ties".

It starts out with Sinyaramen. The Grandfather is Vilandon who is a vampire hunter, and Aundae is his mother but she is a vampire - this is the "game" part.

Hmm. I'm not usually good with this stuff, but since I answered a question earlier and didn't actually POST a question, I'll have a go.

Who's the "necromancer" Ranis Athrys at the Balmora Mages' Guild will ask you to kill in an early (duh) Mages' Guild quest?

I'm probably a little off, but I would guess the 2 weapons you can find around the Solstheim rivers; Haakon's Lucky Break (staff) and Frostgore (Riekling Lance). Just an answer off the top of my head.

not bad, however Haakons lucky break is in lake Fjalding and i didn?t meant frostgore, although it would perfectely fit my question.
Should have made it more precise.

there is some other thing deep down in the waters that caught my attention ;)

edit: Ro, exactely what i meant, and especially what?s inside the leather sealed chest ;)

After you have completed the Tribunal main quest you can go back to the weather machine under Mournhold and reset the weather in the city.
What is the lever combination to set it to thunderstorms?

I am truly sorry that I was not around to answer the responses to my old riddle. But when your 71 year old mother has a syst, you drop everything to go see her. Thankfully, it was removed without any complications or ill side effects. The riddle was as follows:

I have two eyes and a set of teeth;
I've sailed these waters and swam the deep;
But once we met I was quite stoic;
Though now I've become quite heroic!

Slashcross9 did have it correct. It was Jiub. Good job.

Again, sorry for not being around, but I think you understand.

If memory serves me correctly, the one on the right initiated the ash storm, and the two on the left together initiated thunderstorms?

No, not correct for the thunderstorm, but I may have to abandon this question as it not something that is going to be known as it's not part of the game to go back there. I'll give it another few hours. :)

Wait, isn't it impossible to find a combination for it? I can't remember it even coming up when I was testing out the different combinations.

Nope, it is possible. I went there and checked out all the combinations and they do change the weather in Mournhold after the main quest is finished.

That one is not selectable but thunderstorms are a different picture.

The answer is Left lever away from you, Center towards, Right away.

As this is getting into a discussion thread which is not the purpose of the quiz topic I will ask an easier question.

Silt Striders are navigated by the caravanner manipulating internal organs. There are levers to do this - how many?

Eight? I honestly haven't played Morrowind in forever and don't know if there even were levers, so I think it'll be 8 or 6.

Last time I rode a silt strider, I believe there were four. I could be wrong though. (I'm determined not to cheat and use CS. :P)
