Morrowind and Expansions Quiz # 66

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:49 am

Welcome to the Morrowind Quiz Thread

Rules:
1. Only one question should be asked at a time.

2. The first person to answer correctly will be responsible for providing the next question.

3. If you know that you will not be able to stay to validate a response to your question, you should yield the next question to someone who will be around.

4. Be patient. It can take time to come up with a good question. If you answer a question correctly, you will have 10 minutes to come up with your own question. Your time will start when your answer is validated.

5. Please base you questions on things that are to be found in unmodded Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Try not to include questions that involve lore that cannot be found in game, or rely only on the Construcion Set to answer.

6. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM. If you have a question about the rules or about anything that is not Quiz related, please refrain from posting it in this thread.

7. Finally, if you feel the need to discuss a question, please do so using the PM feature.

Good Luck!

aSaPp!5@ has the floor for the next question

As far as music goes, 6th house bells have nothing on me
If you want the Skaal to like you, my notes you must repeat.

From the book "The Dawn and Dusk". Can't remember what it refers to. :(

Forget my former answer.

I think the sentence refers to the Heart of Lorkhan, as the book of dawn and dusk refers to things about the tribunal, the saints and servants.

OK, it's really too late here so can you, or someone else, ask the next question as I will be logging off soon.

Whatever you say, Santa. :D

Assuming you don't murder anyone, who is likely the first spellcaster the player will ever fight?

Technically, there are 2 answers, though one is better than the other as an answer.

The mage in Addamasartus. I've forgotten his name, however.

The other is Snowy Granius, who you run into on the way to the Dwemer Puzzle Box. You could get even more technical and say Boss Crito, who guards the box itself. Granius can be avoided.

Both exactly what I was looking for. Melar Baram at Addamasartus, and Snowy Granius at the bridge to the Dwemer ruin.

Since both are technically correct, I leave the floor open to anyone.

Mkay, I'll take that floor with an easy one:

This "flat-head" is the source of one religious warrior's rather curious itching...

Roughly where, if you are a level 25 character, would you expect to see an Ascended Sleeper swimming in the sea?

Would that be somewhere in the southern islands, by Vivec? One island has a Sixth House shrine where the Ordinators send you to get a saint's artifact.

??? I never would expect seeing an ascended sleeper swimming in the sea...

I have heard that sometimes ash creatures spawn underwater, but expecting it?, never ;)

There is one place where ash creatures spawn in the water - and at higher levels an Ascended Sleeper is one, and no it is not around Vivec.
