I've already tried closing unnecessary background processes (Steam, antivirus, etc.), moving the location away from program files, ensuring morrowind.bsa is not marked as read-only, and nothing seems to be working. I'm playing the Steam goty edition of morrowind on windows 8.1. Any help is appreciated.
