[RELz] Morrowind Comes Alive 7.0

Congratulations on the release. I used to use MCA 5.2 (for ages and ages) but got away from it at some point when the bandits in town kept murdering my new characters. It sounds like a lot have been overhauled in this version, and I've downloaded it to try it out.

The only feedback I have so far is that the first-run configuration is a bit immersion breaking; even though it's only one time, I'd rather go with the default options than see all of the selection menus. I may modify my local copy to do just that. Overall though, great work, and thanks for all the fun -- past and present.

As a player, I don't mind the configuration menu, but when trying to test a mod or system issues the configuration is a pain. I'm dealing with a new install of Morrowind,and all my mods, and trying to get MGE to run decently on my old computer. So when I bring in a test character, and MGE knocks my FPS below 5 and the pointer will barely move, it's a pain to try to work through the configuration but you can't exit. Then it's back to back with NoM, so it takes as much as 5 minutes to exit out of a configuration that you know won't work within the first 10 seconds. It would be nice if configuration could be avoided or even just delayed.

As I said, I found out what I did with COV clothes, but after overwriting everything with the hotfix I have Imperial Knights wandering about covered in big yellow markers... I was wondering if this had happened to anyone else...

For this very reason, I asked Taddeus to add a button to accept the defaults and close for the NoM configuration in the next version. I really think that ought to be available for all mods that require configuration menus. I certainly appreciate the menu interface, especially knowing how complicated the scripts can be to get started without it.

I've been playing with this all day and haven't had a problem. I haven't read anything that says it uses Danae's Hold It and I am not using the Hold It MCA addon but it seems to be working. Great to see this mod back new and improved :biggrin:

The package is missing a mesh, while visting Vos i get this error

Model Load Error: Meshes\MCA\MCA_A_M_Mole_Quiver_TR.nif cannot load file in Meshes\MCA\MCA_A_M_Mole_Quiver_TR.nif

on the Telvanni ?Archer?

Do you have http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1377296-rel-morrowind-rebirth-18/ installed? If so then check the Morrowind Rebirth archive first and if that's causing a missing mesh then perhaps Trancemaster need to have your report of this issue. :smile:

Shouldn't Merged_Objects.esp be loaded last in your loadorder and have you looked in the leveled list in Mashed Lists.esp for a weapon to a Tevanni archer once you have imported everything. :smile:
