I picked Block & spears for the same character, FUUUUU-, was pretty angry when I found out Block was short for Shield Block, well that's what you get for assuming too much.

Like everyone else, I can share some stories:

when I first seriously played the game (xbox when it first came out) I got my telvanni mushroom house, at tel uvirith; and went to tel aruhn and bought me the female slaves there and made them follow me back to my tower. Well, then thinking I could be a telvanni pimp I slapped them around while I was there and then left... but they laid in wait (and not long enough to forget) so when I came back at deaths door they attacked me and I didn't realize what was happening in time to stop them from killing me. I DID manage to get a fireball off that made the dwemer centurion sphere join the battle against me but didn't do much else...

random wandering and found a 6th house cup, thought it was a cursed item and left it on someone never found it again when I needed it....

more of my ego-mania while playing MW (something about being "the chosen one"...) I initiated a 6 hour fist fight with dagoth ur. I didn't win, even with him in the lava (had constant effect regen self enchanted ring and uber heal potions keeping me alive while standing in the lava with him) - perhaps not a full 6 hours but it was a large part of a day and I went thru all my potions and finally died.

and took the mages guild escort for the guild master chick who wants Itermerel's notes and I thought to be funny I wouldn't actually kill him directly but instead see if I couldn't get him to levitate off of the top of a hill (becuz they still won't follow you UP, just forward-backward, left-right) so up to the top of the hills near balmora and he followed me out onto the air (YEAH!!!!) and when the spell wore off he fell (YEAH!!!) and it did NOT kill him (NOOOO!!!) - got tired of this and killed him immediately afterwards.

First time I ever ran into a Cliff Racer....it was bad.

I went just a short distance outside of Balmora to rest (pay for a bed, pfft) and got attacked in the middle of the night. It was dark (my old crappy monitor complicated this further) so I couldn't see what was attacking me....just this hellish thing making squawking noises and beating the crap out of me. I was swinging my sword into darkness and oculdn't hit anything....it was terrifying.

So after my health was nearly gone, I fled back into town and the creature was killed by a couple of guards. I examined it's corpse and vowed to never again rest outside of town....(obviously, I eventually did in the next 8 years of playing the game, but for a while, I didn't sleep anywhere but a bed in town.)

I also got totally owned by a Kwama worker once not long after I started playing. It was probably my first "non-stupid" death. (IE, not picking a fight with guards or falling from a great height.) It just wrecked me...I had no chance against it.

Ran around with a lamp in one hand and an axe in the other attacking Ordinators yelling "IM AXING YOU, SCUM!" was fun until they slaughtered me.

Probley the dummest thing I ever did in Morrowind was when I decided it would be a good idea for my level 1 character to start a fight with an Imperial Guard and then select *Resest Arrest* Needless to say I was promptly pwned.

I'm sure everyone tried that at least once......and it never ends well I'm sure, lol.

Reminds me of another fun memory from my early time playing the game. I was swimming around near Seyda Neen and managed to attract 5-6 slaughterfish. Unable to handle them myself, I swam back to land via the little inlet near the lighthouse.

Well, I get to shore, and one of the guards tears off into the water after the slaughterfish. So I figure those fish are as good as dead and go about my business looting houses and doing other silly things that new players do. About 10 minutes later, I happened to walk by that inlet again, and saw all but one of the slaughterfish dead.....and also the guard had been killed! I finished off the last fish myself and helped myself to what was, at the time, the best weapon and armor I could have had.

And I've never thought the same of Imperial Guards ever since.

First time I played Morrowind, I went to look for the Dwemer Puzzle Box. Went to Angtxxxhand, searched everything and found nothing. Found the closed doors but couldn't get through and thought that the Puzzle Box must be in there, but my skills weren't high enough to open them. Went back to Balmora, trained my lockpicking skills and bought some better lockpicks. Went back, managed to open the doors, but found nothing except some dwemer creatures. Decided to give up the quest and do something else instead. After a while, I came past Angt[whatever], went in, found there was another part above the part where I had searched already and stumbled on the Puzzle Box by accident....

I did the EXACT same thing :)

None come to mind immediately but I do remember when my mam started playing...

She accidentally sold all her clothes and weapons and was left with nothing but a lockpick.
She then proceeded to try and kill people with it. Silly mammy. :D

Had (have) much loot in Tel Uvirith. Decided to mod my tower. Spending an hour or so ripping my loot off the walls, roof and floor only to realise that most of my stuff would completely remain inside the solid tree for eternity if I didn't uncheck the mod... Never renovate your house without emptying it first.

I've never done anything like put pillows under Vivec and all the hilarious stuff that's been here. Besides the basic accidental stealing and hitting people with weapons, I think I haven't been fooling around as much as I should have. :( I do love the laws and attitude of the world though, with people having a full right to MURDER YOU if you steal a piece of paper from their table. :D

Well, once I ran out of levitation potions while flying too high and died. Later I deliberately tested my acrobatics by letting the levitation spell end and thus dropping from as high as I can. In my first time playing I, too, freaked out, used all my scrolls and shot sustained fire from my first random loot / stolen enchanted ring at the first silt strider I ever saw. ^^ And had major trouble finding the Dwemer Puzzle Box as I, too, never realised there were rooms above the entrance level...

My better character is not even on level 30, but he is invincible already. I think my next mission with him is that I try to hunt down every single NPC from the game, just to prove how supreme I am. D:

Also, I always carry Staff of Magnus with me, and it's just for show. Whenever I have an important meeting, such as with my Telvanni Council members, I keep it out as if it was my wanderer's staff. You know, just to draw some respectful or envious glimpses! However, when I have to hit, I quickly draw out some much more appropriate stuff like my own enchantment called Doomsday Device or The Mace of Aevar Stone-Singer. B)

The one I remember is... a thief-type that specialized in bow-and-arrow, with shortblade as backup. Man, I was READY to take on those werewolves - stocked up on hundreds and hundreds of enchanted arrows, had my acrobatics at 100, and planned to hop up into high nooks and crannies and snipe from above. I got one shot off, ran screaming back to the maze entrance (where the good perch was) as the hound almost overtook me, and hopped up. He immediately ran off into the maze. No problem, I could see no less than 3 more hounds on the other side of my wall-perch. One shot later, they all go screaming off into the maze, super-pissed-off. About once every 20-30 seconds a hound would go blazing by underneath me, and I'd try to get a shot off. Nada. And these arrows were like annoying little pins and needles to them. OK... so maybe not the best idea. Let's see if my shortblade will hold up.... AAAARRRGGGGHHHH.... [reload...]

Well, the story goes something like this. I finally got a crossbow, and was super excited. I mean, I was [censored] ecstatic. So I look at a netch off in the distance. I thought it wouldn't hit, being so far away, so I took aim jokingly, and shot it.

My reaction?

"OH [censored] OH [censored] OH [censored] IT'S DEFLATING WHY IS IT DEFLATING OH MY GOD I'M A NETCH MURDERER WHAT'S WRONG WITH MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

You're a sick man, Deffy. Sick I say.

Try Almalexia WHILE surrounded by her guards?

Another of mine: I decided to prove myself superior to the Gods in the game and I...

Spoiler
decided to kill Vivec in a fist-fight, when I only had hand-to-hand 35. Half an hour later, he finally died.

So, having done that, I went and played through the Tribunal Main Quest...

Spoiler
and tried to kill her in front of her guards, without realising what'd happen further down the line. That didn't end well, even when I wasn't using only my fists...

That would have been a good choice. By then I wouldn't have had a chance. I think I still don't, even with all my best constant effect stuff equipped.

I saved the game and attacked Almalexia once though, out-of-character. She and Her High Ordinators finished me in, like, seconds. :D

I think that
Spoiler
King Helseth's chamber would still be a deadly place for me, however. That's because I killed the King. They're angry for me even without bounty; how odd... ;D Every now and then I open the door and kill, like, one guy there, then get out.

To kill the King, I actually used a Scroll of Icarian Flight received from you-know-who-<3 in the very beginning of the game, to jump on top of his throne, then used the best poison dart from The Black Dart Gang. The King's health slowly drifted away even though his ring protected him. It was nearing the 120 seconds already, but the poisonous dart finally managed to kill Helseth. All the time he and his many guards buzzed below me like angry bees but couldn't reach me, of course. Then I hopped down the throne and quickly took his overly powerful ring, then teleported to safety. The ring, whenever equipped, I think is the biggest reason why I'm basically undefeated at the moment... Finally even managed to kill Gaenor with it. :P

You know, I try to convince me it's not true, but I myself can't do anything at all. The good stuff just do everything for me. :(

My confession is (being away from the game for so long) I have forgotten a lot of the short cuts, glitches, item stashes, and when-to-tackle-certain-quests that came with experience. I was feeling particularly confident with my level 15 Redguard Warrior, enough so to take on that

in Mournhold. As a result I received a complete and utter beatdown for my arrogance. I did not get the hint and returned for multiple beatings.

I tend to take all 6th house stuff and put them in my home to protect the world from their influence.

I soul trap all named dagoths and then put the gems on display.

Didn't realize once that I had to equip arrows to use them. Couldn't figure out why I wasn't shooting until after the mudcrab killed me.

I never sleep in tombs esp near the circles of ash and bones---the voices you hear near them creep me out.

Killed a shopkeeper once by accident. I had sold him a bunch of dark brotherhood armor (which he decided to wear). Thought he was another assassin.

Ran into a room and locked the door to prevent the bad guys from killing me only to realize I couldn't teleport out (no mana) and couldn't rest (enemies nearby).

I am sure there are others but it has been a long time since I have played.

I started once to soul trap once of every creature but after adding the GIANTS mod I gave up.

I'm sure there is a cheat out there that will allow you to get another gem to capture both :ninja:

Once I accidentally sold Maurie's glove from the beauty and the bandit quest to a trader in pelagiad.

Who put it on and refused to sell it back.

So I had to decide to leave the quest or kill the trader.
After completing the quest I decided I couldnt live as a murderer, and started a whole new game. :wallbash:
