[REL] Morrowind Containers Animated

barrels are smoothed. These animations are faster than the others, so 0.5 seconds should be enough

The bulbous shaped sacks are kinda funny. They end up looking something like an organic pod opening up or being made of some type of elastic material. Not sure if anything could be done about that seeing as the vanilla mesh starts off with them looking like a tapered end rather than the tied off bag opening they were trying to convey. I'd actually be in favor of keeping those sacks without the animation.

that bag doesn't convince me either.

to qqqbbb

http://depositfiles.com/files/frw7sd5nc, open to 30° instead of 45° and the animation is faster, 0.5 sec instead of 1.0 Perhaps they could be used instead of the others.

I imagine, give it a couple years or so, Arcimaestro and the others who do this, will have EVERYTHING in Morrowind animated. That will be a sight to see. such an amazing job has been done already as well!

Fabulous!
Is there a way to leave them open so you know you've looked in them?

Arcimaestro great work!!

But maybe you can use the meshes redone by Tarius for the sack and barrels instead => http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/38170

This sound interesting...
Its easy to script. The only downside is that we will have 2 versions of the mod.

The way this worked in Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul seemed pretty nifty:

The first time you activate a container it animates it opening and then stays open.
If you activate it a second time it runs the closing animation but does not open the container.

These two steps are then repeated. if you click it while it's closed, it animates opening and activates the container. If you click it while it's open it animates closing and does NOT activate the container.

Does that make sense?

Yes, perfectly. That would be ideal.

If you want I have done a new fabric texture for the small_chest 01 and 02 inside ^^, because yours was too small I thought.

Are you planning on adding sounds to the other containers when you open them?

Seen this bug report in the MGSO v3.0 private test :

chaosapiant666 :
think I found the cause of the barter/crash bug! I believe it is tied to the Animated Chests mod. I unchecked that ESP, and for the life of me could not get Arrille to crash on me during the barter menu. Maybe there is an already updated version of this mod? I know it was just released not too long ago.

Edit: So, I removed the animchests.esp and the game no longer has this bug. I installed the newest version of Morrowind Animated Chests, and the bug returns. The ESPs have different names, but i'm sure it's the same mod, and that mod seems to be what is causing the issue. Can anyone else confirm this?
I actually may have had this bug a couple of days ago. Can't say for sure because I had some other newly installed mods too that may have been the culprit. Anyway, my game kept crashing when I would barter with the pawnshop in Balmora. I haven't had any crashes so far today with this new version though.

I am very sorry to report that this issue is confirmed on a completely clean install of Morrowind. No mods, no replacers, no patches, and no MGE. The first time I bartered with Arrille, I had no problem. I left the cell, returned, and selected "Barter" again. I canceled out of the barter and as soon as I clicked "Goodbye" the game crashed. It does it every time with nothing in the Warnings.txt. I don't find it particularly rare to cancel out of a barter menu, so this might be a serious problem. I did not experience any issues with Spells, Persuasion, or any other dialog option, only "Barter".

^ I just had another crash a couple days ago with this new version. And it happened as I was bartering with Arrille as well. I can barter with him fine, but it crashes upon exiting the transaction. My first crash happened with the pawnbroker in Balmora.

baskets and urns have already been smoothed in this mods. I'll smooth also the barrels.
Will you guys also make a unsmoothed version of this mod? Please consider doing that :)
This uses vanilla textures correct?
