Morrowind DLC

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 12:50 pm

Please forgive me if this has already been posted, but there are some theories that a new DLC will include parts of or the entirety of Morrowind

Not very reliable sources, but definitely interesting.

Todd did say he wants his DLC to feel more like expansions to the game not just a crappy Weapons or Armour.

On top of this you can see all of cyrodill too and see the white gold tower out in the distance.

I dunno about Cyrodil, but that road that leads directly into Morrowind looks very suspicious :stare:

I am pretty sure that the DLC will not be the entire province of Morrowind, I mean that was a whole other game

Very old news. 20th thread on this now? Lost count.

And again, Oblivion had almost the entire landmass of Tamriel as well. They generate it every time. Doesn't mean they'll use it.

Afraid not. All they are is basic landscape meshes (That may not even be complete) with the LOD distant land textures so that you can see them from the top of....say, High Horothgar and not just be looking at a flat landscape beyond Skyrim's borders.

Considering the size, it would take them as long to make the DLC as it did to make Skyrim itself. So there won't be DLC that adds them.

I saw that road to Morrowind as well, the 1st thing that went into my head was expansion pack or DLC that involved northern Morrowind.

There is also a road up near Windhelm that has a Gate going to Morrowind (when you exit the city, turn left and follow the road.
