[RELz] Morrowind's Epic Ladies - Dunmer

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 7:10 pm

REALLY hoping you guys like this one. This was the hardest pack to do so far, Dunmer are deceptively complicated for me for some reason. Here's the Nexus link: http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41737

And while you're there, give me your delicious votes for the main head pack, found here http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=41589 It's literally 35-35 right now. :x Let's remind people Morrowind is just as good/valid as Oblivion, if not SO MUCH BETTER. Thanks in advance, love you guys<3

PS - I know everyone wants guy faces and more "normal" looking faces, like Saiko is doing. All I can really do is make things in the style that I have personally, and hope it goes over well. This has been a really fun learning process, and I hope you lovely individuals who have kept me motivated can find some enjoyment and enhancement to your game.

DL as we speak.Just beautiful. I've been waiting for this. Using your work along with Illys and westlys to replace the heads in my game. Thanks so much. Oh and already voted for the head pack.

Ty!!! I'd love if you released your replacer sometime. That's exactly what I wanna do, but my grand plan is to use my heads + Illy's + Westly's + someone else's maybe? to maybe like truly unique NPCs. Although there are about 3000 of them, so.. :/ But yeah, nonetheless, hope you release it. :D

I've just downloaded all your head packs, and I intend for them to replace all the Better Heads ones I'm using now. For the females at least. Hopefully one day I'll have an adequate replacement for the male ones.

I thought about using your heads to create some unique NPCs, but then I decided that I'd much rather upgrade the female NPCs that are already there. I've had about enough of Better Heads at this point. :P

Fantastic! Have downloaded, will be merging it into the giant face and hair plugin I have going.

Also, while playing Morrowind today, I had a thought. Would it be possible to glowmap the gems in the ponytail hairstyle? I just think it would look pretty cool, especially when combined with clothing items that are glowmapped.

I'm SO sorry, waswar pointed out I forgot to Nifstrip the meshes. Please DL it again, my badddd. >_<

But yeah Rave, that would be possible. I'll play around with it and get back to you, if it works out nicely I can upload an addon.

My favorite ones from your Dark Elves are the old looking ones in the second & fifth column, top row. http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/41737-1-1330231124.jpg

Good work on these, Meldiocre. I personally am not too fond of most of the faces though, as they look too stylized for my taste. But you will never please everyone. So if you're happy with them, then that is what counts. (Read Elaura's signature) Keep making more faces, though! :)

Don't bother yourself with that nonsense, every modder has his/her own style. :) If nothing else, these packs let us choose only some faces and some not, so we can combine as we see it fit. All work is equally appreciated, however!

Anyway, sweet work, downloaded and will endorse as soon as an hour passes (that is, as soon as I remember to :P). Thank you!

Looking as fabulous as ever, Meldiocre - you definitely can't tell that you had problems with these from the finished products :) I love the older faces, but I have to say my favourite is the one with the crazy makeup. She's absolutely stunning :D

Now I just have to find someone worthy of that face... Divayth's 'daughters', maybe. Hm.

Anyway, thank you! Your hard work is very much appreciated and I can't wait to see where you go from here.

Thank you so much for all the work you put into this! It looks wonderful, I can't wait to get these faces into my game. Don't worry about your style not being to everyone's taste; it is so much more important to have your own look, and to do strong, high-quality work, than it is to do work that is only meant to please everyone. You can always support the modders who do work you like that is different from your own, after all! I tend to believe it is better for there to be lots of people in the community with their own "niche" that they do well, rather than any one person doing everything. Your faces have brought a great deal of new life to the ladies of Morrowind, and that is something to be proud of. Excellent job!

NP Slaanesh, so happy to contribute.

Lyssia you're absolutely right. I freaking love what Saiko has shown us so far, and I'll be among the first to DL it. My ultimate dream is to have a replacer that goes per NPC (maybe not ALL of them, but with more diversity than is currently available in replacers) with my stuff, Westly's stuff, Illy's stuff, and whoever else's. Just so when you look around it's like almost a different face everywhere you turn. That would be so neatttt. Ton of work though, SO many CS entries to alter. Ow. x.x But yeah, I am rambling. I appreciate your support sooo much, but you must know this already. x.x

It's from Westlys Alakazar's Lamp. The necklace is a part of the dress ^_^

Those are great pictures, Waswar.
I liked a lot of Meldiocre's other female race faces. I'm sure he could make Dunmer variations of the faces from the Bosmer and Redguards. But as he said, Dunmer are difficult to do. Keep up the great work.

Excellent Jac. EXXXXCELLENT. *rubs hands* What's next, I wonder? *ponder*

Sister, that looks really cool, and I'm glad you like that hairstyle. I'm not totally sure who made it but Akavir666 was nice to let me release it. It's super classy.

Waswar, I am IN LOVE with your replacements. That Barenziah is exactly what I wanted when I made the face. Barenziah and Morgiah are hands down my favorite lore characters of all time (from Daggerfall days).

Heh Tes and Slaanesh, I guess I need to increase my emoticon and heart quotient. :P
