Morrowind for XBLA and PSN

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 5:02 pm

I don't know if this has been posted before but I REALLY don't feel like sifting through the threads.

Anyways...

I played Morrowind before and I liked it a lot but I still find it annoying that I am unable to chat with my friends on Xbox Live due to it being a regular Xbox game.

So that being said I would like to see it released on XBLA and, to be fair to the PS3 users, PSN.

Nothing needs to be changed with the game itself. I just want to be able to chat with friends while playing.

If Bethesda would do this they could put it's expansions down as DLC.

If anyone else supports this, and with a little luck, they just might consider doing this.

It's not that Bethesda or Microsoft were too lazy to do it, it's because there's no need.
It's not an online game, and it's more than 10 years old.

Bethesda stopped providing technical support for Morrowind a looooooong time ago... Before the Xbox 360 and PS3 even existed.

The forums here are pretty active though, so there's lots of Morrowind chat happening here all the time. :)

I think there would be a lot of support for Morrowind being available on PSN/Live... Beth have a cash cow right there waiting to be milked.

Really? I mean the 360 was released in 2005, only 3 years after Morrowind's initial release.

bethesda usually stops supporting their games a few months after the release of last dlc or expansion. So guessing they stopped a month or 2 after bloodmoon if they even patched it at all since it was a box release and didnt get on steam until 2009.
