I've seen that, due to the effort of modders the current modded version of Morrowind is currently better, solely in terms of graphics than vanilla Oblivion (in my opinion, as I'm sure others will disagree).

Is it possible that we'll see Morrowind ever reach the graphical level of Skyrim? I've been told that it's logistically impossible as Morrowind is an old game and only uses one core whereas most modern games use at least two cores. But having seen Morrowind mods... I'm unsure about those claims.

I've decided to ask here as most of the people here will know more about the capabilities of the game than I do, so that's my question:

Will Morrowinds graphics ever meet those of Skyrim?
