No Dagoth yet. Glad to see nobody walks around naked with clubs...and worships Dagoth Ur, of course. I'm sure there's quite a few who do the first thing...

You have a very wrong idea of how House Dagoth works, my friend :)
And yes, I'll be the first one to vote this XD Dagoth Ur is one of the most misunderstood, poor people in TES lore ^^

House Redoran. They are true warriors who fight in the name of their ancestors and traditions. And most of all, they're proud of it.

House Indoril for me, i love roleplaying as a pompus, arrogent, 'better then you' temple worshipper.

House Redoran is a close second, then Telvanni.

Telvanni! Must look into the nature of toxins and diseases, and they're the only house that studies anything. Plus I get a house made out of mushrooms, it's extremely eco friendly! :P

All exploit a type of greed:

Hlaalu: Money

Telvanni: Power/Knowledge

Redoran: Honor/Glory

I suppose I'd fit in more with Redoran, but on bad days I might turn Telvanni.

It's all about Redoran! The true warriors of the Dunmer. Telvanni is for stuck-up jerks and Hlaalu . . . well, Hlaalu isn't as cool as Redoran.

This isn't the Morrowind forum, so I'll say Camoran.

I've been a hard-core Telvanni for four years now. I might switch to Redoran, but I'm waiting for a mod to rival the UL/RoHT/LGNPC trifecta of awesomeness. Pax Redoran is great, but I want a good stronghold mod to match...and I'm too burnt out on my own stronghold mod to take it on myself. :sadvaultboy:

Theres no such thing as "House Camoran". If you mean the Mythic Dawn, that's a cult, not a house.

Learn2Lore. House Camoran are the ruling dynasty of Valenwood.

And additionally, "Dwemer" were erroneously called a house by a bad Imperial historian. They're an entirely separate civilization from the Dunmer.

It's the same thing. In real history you can say the "Habsburg Dynasty" or the "House of Habsburg" interchangeably.

But you don't hear it refered to as that. I've never seen anyone use "Hlaalu Dynasty" or anything along those lines.

Despite being a member of House Redoran, this. Long live the empire! For Cyrodiil! For the Imperials!

My mindset is either Redoran (honor) or Hlaalu (money), depending on my toon. Can never get my mindset as a Telvanni for some reason (isolationist). Never would have supported Indoril (like I give in to the Tribunal), Dres (Slavery), Dagoth (give everyone a hideous make-over), or the Dwemer (they're dead).

Qawsed Asap, don't think of Telvanni as isolationist, but rather power hungry, opportunistic, and "might makes right" kind of people. Helps if you create an amoral toon.

They're also more self-centered. I love their rule being "If you steal something, and live long enough to do it, you deserve whatever you stole."

I'd assume, even though they're grouped, they don't really work as a group.

Well, that the shorter, and a bit nicer, term of isolationist for the Telvanni. More so in ya term, and Voby's, in addition to in slave holding, Mage Guild hating, all for myself type of person. I would assume that unless my toon was really an Telvanni-origin toon, my mindset isn't really that flexible to actually be allies with some of the member within the organization. I might as well be like Divayth Fyr and study in my own little world.

Dwemer are dead, Dagoth are mutated and stuff, Telvanni are crazy, Indoril are fanatics, Dres are slavers and Redoran are just plain dull. It's not really much of a choice...and it shows in the poll results too :grad:

But Hlaalu are greedy bastards with no honour, who break deals and cheat customers if there's an advantage. They resort to thuggery if they can't legitimately beat their competitors products as well.

House Hlaalu is despicable, I find their organization offensive to the ideal of basic courtesy and self-responsability.

I would say that they are equally as heartless as the Telvanni, but they are much worse because their actions affect many more people and they know it.
