Okay, I just recently got Morrowind (yes, I know I'm a little late to the party, but Skyrim made me want to get it). I've read how much mods can make the game better and decided I wanted to play around with it.

Here's the problem: I try to load the master file like people say, and I get the commonplace error when trying to run it. I put in the AllowYesToAll command into the text file ( it had me save it as a document instead of directly changing it, maybe that's the problem). It didn't work and I can't even bring up any files or anything that can be messed with. Just a bunch of empty white squares. Please help?

Don't try to open .ini files using Word-like programs, use a text editor. You can use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notepad_%28software%29 or a better one, e.g. http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
