Yo Dark0ne, the tags section needs editing too. Nothing major, it just still lists a lot of oblivion specific tags (the same is probably true for oblivion nexus and morrowind tags)

I'm aware most are on Wrye/BoSS, 10 years on...but you never know, having a one-click downloader/installer might get a few more modders out of the woodwork :goodjob:
Speaking of which... How close would NMM be integrated with http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1167004-relz-mlox-a-tool-for-anolyzing-and-sorting-your-load-order/ and/or http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1331996-yacobys-wrye-mash-fork/ for instance or is it to soon to tell?

I found the Orc face that I used ohhh so many years ago, installing as we speak.
Ready to get lost for hours on end!? I sure am, ahh now to download all those mods  thankfully the nexus is up...I'm also going to need to somehow get Jericho's face in one of the imperials....

What's about uploading MGSO on MorrowindNexus now ?
It would be great for visibility and keep a backup on this site.
Yeah, the new version will be up there for sure. :)

Good job, Darkone. It's nice to have another place to point to when people come in complaining about how the Morrowind Modding Community is dying. :D

My first impression of the website is that it seems to scroll VERY sluggishly in IE. After I roll the mousewheel, it takes about 2 seconds for the screen to update. I'm not sure if it's due to flash or too many graphics or some kind of bug... I can see individual pieces of text moving 1 pixel at a time. The background graphics seems to shift and shimmer. Maybe it's continually doing software resampling of huge graphics.

Scrolling in this forum is pretty slow too.

On most websites there is no noticable delay.

The same thing happens on this forum, BTW. On most websites there is no noticable delay.

Well its not the website thats the problem, its that you are using the worst browser ever.

I have discovered a couple of minor issues. If there is a place on the nexus to mention these, I was unable to locate it. Unfortunately, it could have been right under my nose and I still might not have seen it. Anyway, the first is that the link in the summary for the Morrowind subforum here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/ still points to http://www.tesnexus.com instead of the new Morrowind Nexus. Also, and this might not be fixable, although I am logged in, it seems none of the mods I have downloaded in the past are known. I attempted to endorse a mod I have downloaded before and it said I couldn't endorse a mod I haven't downloaded. As I'm unlikely to download these mods again unless they're updated, I won't be able to endorse them. It is fortunate that previous endorsemants are still there. I guess this is a lesson to me not to procrastinate with my endorsemants in the future.

No. The website is the problem if it's finding ways to brutalize the performance of the most popular browser.

Anyway, Firefox does work better with that site.

the most popular browser.

Most popular =/= best.

Also, the news on Nexus state that the newest NMM has Morrowind support. Gotta try it soon. Good work Nexus team!

Actually there is no minor issues instead is just that you'll have to wait a few seconds before the site redirects you to http://forums.nexusmods.com/ and in http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/117-feedback-suggestions-and-questions/ can you give feedback, but can you also report other oddities that you might encounter.

Ah... now I see what you mean if you're referring to the links beneath the forum title. What I mean is the old http://www.tesnexus.com link there is under on both Oblivion, Morrowind forums are pointed to the http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/ site.

I don't know exactly how it's now with the site arrangements of Nexus, but IIRC you still can download mods that you have downloaded before and you can view your download history of only one month if you're not a premium member because they can view the history of every downloaded mod. If you want to view your download history then goto a download site and there move your mouse on top the Files and a menu should be pulled down then select download history at the bottom of the Files menu.

EDIT: I was too fast to press the submit bottom and then I forgot the most important changes there is now on Nexus if you remember how it was 1-2 years ago. In 2010/11 Nexus changed the endorsemant feature a little, because AFAIK the reason was to eliminate the possibilities to endorse a mod without downloading it and you couldn't endorse a downloaded mod to soon after instead you'll need to wait a couple of hours before you could endorse a mod.

You missed the point, Leo. I can't endorse a mod I've downloaded if the site doesn't recognize that I've downloaded the mod and I don't intend to re-download the mod in order to endorse it. Sadly, Jac and I still pay by the MB over a certain amount each month and we are careful not to D/L anything more often than we need to.

Frankly, I really have no interest in viewing my own d/l history.

Thanks for giving us that platitude, unbidden.

Browser fanboyism notwithstanding, I wouldn't want 37% of users to suffer a bad experience. Many will give up and not come back.

I see and I misunderstood you Elaura. But your issue might be a result of the site split that DarkOne did a couple of days ago and I think he also inform us about the uploaded pictures there were in the Morrowind catgory before the site split could be lost. I could be wrong about that.

NP, Leo. I'm pretty sure it is due to the split and you're right about the pics, although I don't think I mentioned screenshots in my posts.

But he has Windows, the most popular operating system! It can't be the OS causing problems, so many people use it!
