I am not aware if you know about this problem, but morrowind doesn't run on the vga kabel for the xbox360, it says that it doesn't support the pal-50 setting of the vga kabel...

Playing MW GOTY on my 360, it is great fun! :)
Though I'm trying harder to avoid death since savegame loading is extremely slow. Does anyone else experience this? It is supposedly attributed to the extra content from the expansions but I cannot remember it being this slow on the pc. Area loading times is no problem though, working quite smooth.

I've had this problem too.

The bugs I've encountered are, load screens flicker with the image of your gamescreen right before you loaded, pictures on save files get super-pixelated/distorted, and pictures in the inventory of magical items, their magic "aura" is distorted. And loading takes 5x longer, especially autosaves. Any fixes?

It's the same on the original xbox.

if you buy a platinum hits version and have an xbox live account it should work, i got one yesterday and it works fine, plus it came with bloodmoon and tribunal.

My GOTY works just fine. I'm starting out with my Dunmer wizard, Enki. (Props if you can correctly guess where I got the name from.)

Yeah, even the newer GOTY version is now 5 years old so it's not that easy to find in local stores. You probably have better luck if you try looking for it online too, like ebay or amazon.

Also, since the game is relatively old very weak computers by today can run the game well. So if you find a PC version, you might try that one? If you really want to play the game, that is.

So what is the reason to have morrowind on the 360 if it's already on the xbox? Is it the graphics?

Conscerning "off the internet" ... Local stores in your area...

What are the most common Game Shops (Walmart, best buy, gamestop, Game crazy, etc...) that still sell this game used/new?

Like:

1. ---
2. ---
3. ---

Thank You

Sweet, do the graphics improve when being run on a 360? Does saving it to the hard drive improve the awful loading times?
Thanks in advance, Ed.

No, you don't get it

You can use the same disk that you play on the original xbox, and play it on the 360. Get it? And if your Original Xbox breaks (hopefully not) you can just play it on your 360 (but you'll have to start a new game)

Oh my god I didn't know you could use a disk to update the 360 console for this! I thought you had to have xbox live. And I never thought Morrowind would ever make it on this list! I can't believe I could have been playing Morrowind for almost two years now. I feel like such a boner for never seeing this! I'm so excited!! :shocking:

I have a 360 with HDMI and you do not need to worry about component cables and 50 / 60 hz modes. You load the game and it works. I use a 37" television and the game upscales to 720p, still square not widescreen but it is good.
