Why the blighters, would Microsoft invest in making it compatible?
They serve PC-support packages, where this game can be played, and probably, not sure, PC-gamers are a dominant market factor....
Of course, the Nintendo, Sony - and others - have had their market place/share, deserved and well, or not, for the development in competition of PC-playable games.....

Many tried....but.....
In the end, there can only be one!

Cheers, J.M.

There are people like me who just can't afford a high quality PC (Mac owner), I would be playing Morrowind right now if I did happen to own a PC, but of course that is way out of my budget, 360 is the best I can get if I want to be able to play Oblivion or Morrowind.

I had almost forgot how fun it was to cast scroll of icarian flight and then crumple into the ground. Thank Akatosh that this is finally on the BC list! :touched:

Wow this is pretty weird, on 7/9/07 I sent an Email to Xbox Backwards Compatibility. Entitled "TES III: Morrowind GoTY". I listed a few reasons I felt it should be at the top of the compatibility list. I never received an email back but it said they dont always reply.

Is it just the basic game or does the GOTY edition work too?

Certainly is good news, and I won't be locking all those topics made about it. :D

Hopefully we will be seeing more players both coming back, and starting Morrowind.

:celebration: . Party on dudes and gals... I shall work harder to save up enough bling to purchase a XBOX360 for me birthday and get me some cool games to go with it. Besides Morrowind of course.

Alright Microsoft, you listen to your customers after all  ! I am proud to say that I am going to get an XBOX360 as soon as I can afford to and play the [cencored] out Morrowind on it.

This of course puts me up to the idea of getting Oblivion too...

Say, is there any possibility of downloading mods for now BC Morrowind through XBOX LIVE? At least the official gamesas released mods. Oblivion has some, right? Will Morrowind?

Yeah, GREAT news indeed.

I really doubt that Beth is going to make the Mods compatible with the Xbox version, it would be too much work and they are probably very busy making TES5 and Fallout 3.

Wow this is great news!

This should clear up all the "too many blocks" game crashes since the X360 is a powerhouse and won't be overloaded on huge save files. At least you would think so.
