Of course I won't believe this until Microsoft releases an official statement, but it sure is intriguing, and would make it so I don't have to get an original Xbox to play GOTY.

Hot damn! I am not getting my hopes up, but this will make me feel sooo much better for selling my X-box. (I have no money for a good computer)

Does anyone else find it annoying that it's always listen under "M" even in video rental stores? The game title is "The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind" It is listed under E, duface(s).

This is NOT a thread asking to make morrwind backwards compatible. Go check xbox's website, they JUST made morrowind playable on the 360 a couple hours ago.

Just spreading the news.

If you have a Xbox 360 with a hard drive, you can now play the old Xbox version of Morrowind if you have it.

Of course I won't believe this until Microsoft releases an official statement, but it sure is intriguing, and would make it so I don't have to get an original Xbox to play GOTY.

Why the blighters, would Microsoft invest in making it compatible?
They serve PC-support packages, where this game can be played, and probably, not sure, PC-gamers are a dominant market factor....
Of course, the Nintendo, Sony - and others - have had their market place/share, deserved and well, or not, for the development in competition of PC-playable games.....

Many tried....but.....
In the end, there can only be one!

Cheers, J.M.
