Just thought I'd drop a few suggestions:

I second the silt strider mod mentioned above it looks amazing

Will you be making sure that these mods work together succesfully, One pair that stood out for me are btb's game improvements, and taddeus' weapon balance pack, another thing, I don't particularly like the strict factions, as it limits your style of play severly, bethesda already implemented conflicts between guilds. The other two I don't like are the murderous dreams and war against the dark brotherhood. War against the DB will break the morag tong quests at the end, which is bad because no explanation is given as for why you cant complete them. As for murderous dreams, I believe it is implemented badly, I suggest this: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=mods.detail&id=4070
It includes an optional plug-in that does the same thing as murderous dreams (more logically so) and plus the dark brotherhood armor no longer looks like crap. (I sugest you also use the btb edit for game improvements.
On btb's site there is also daggerfall book collection which is good as well
and will you include the siege at fort firemoth official plug in

Will you try to choose the ones as lore friendly as possible,
Thank you for your patience

A quick one: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2301
Will you include Morrowind rebirth or the silt strider mod (that you can ride silt striders instead of being teleported

Edit: I didn't read the page before this one, so you can ignore the thing about thaddeus weapon pack and lore stuff

Have you ever considered trying to make a visual pack for Tamriel Rebuilt after you finish these?
Anyway, great work, We all appreciate it

Hello. I just got my copy of Morrowind today and I want to get familiar with the complicated bits
before I install it - I basically want to start it off with the best mods around.

Is this Overhaul mod compatible with Morrowing Rebirth and Tamriel Rebuilt?
Is it compatible with any other mods like the upcoming Artificer's Hand?

My suggestion is to play through MW relatively unmodded, if this is your first time around. Unlike Oblivion, MW's game-play is pretty good in the vanilla game. Then you will get a idea of what you want to modify for your second play through.

I would however, try this: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1181729-relz-morrowind-overhaul-sounds-graphics/ as it all that it does is update the graphics, but it leaves actual game play untouched.

One more thing, for the character creation:

Has anyone ever made a mod which allows you to define your character's age? (Obviously not make him/her a child but like from teens to elderly age, which would
impact his/her stats and how NPC's interact with him/her). If so, could it be implemented in this mod?

Just out of interest.

Not to my knowledge. No.

But an interesting Idea, though! :obliviongate:

Some News:

"The project has been expanded..."

"- Use A LOT of Modders Resources found on the web. There are TONS of them!

- Extend the modifications all over Vvardenfell (for example: a mod adds a new cuirass, like an amor resource for example, then you'll find that armor in Morrowind just like default ones. On a table, in a tomb, and so on. BTB Game Improvements? It should be added to all the new armors and objects.) In other words, all the added plugins will be extended to make the pack look like a brand new game. Every modification should be applied all over the game!..."

What we need for this project:
"- Good, awesome, lore-friendly Modders Resources..."

Of course the main list of mods in the first post of this thread is still valid!

Could you please tell me what you think of this?

Awesome? :D
This project breath new life into morrowind.

+ my suggestions:
lore correct armor mods - http://www.fliggerty.com/phpBB3/custom_page.php?page=28v
Chitin variety - http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6342 (iam sure this is not contained by HELLUVA)
Aragonian armor - http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=165598&id=8294 (iam sure this is not contained by HELLUVA)
Colovian gauntlets - http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=165598&id=7663
Newtscale - http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=165598&id=5781

Dear Kingpix.
Thanks to you and all the amazing modders contributing to this project, I picked up Morrowind this weekend and played for more than 24 hours over two days, and I plan on spending my spare time the next weeks playing Morrowind. Thank you all for that! :) I suspect that this pack, will steal even more of my life.

But I have a suggestion for this package.

Please split it into smaller packages! So many mods in this which should be optional, and splitting it into smaller packages just makes it easier.

I suggest splitting into following "expansion packs":

1. The Gameplay pack: Everything that affects gameplay. Battle mechanics, enhanced npcs, necesities, crafting.
2. The Immersion pack: Everything that just affects immersion in the worldspace. Children of morrowind, Abots fishes, abots birds, Imperial Cart-ride, Living Vivec etc etc.
3. The Content pack: Everything that adds new storylines, guilds and quests to the game.

Please consider it. My bet is that you would reach a larger audience, and it would also allow you guys to make them more extensive.

Thank you :)

To be honest, one of the most fustrating to me when i feel lack of clothing/armor variety in bethesda games generally. And since there is the world one of the (if not even that) greatest modder community, with a tons of lore friendly armor/weapon mods... we should be proud !!! :D

do you have any plans on incorporating or supporting some of the changes mods such as Tamriel Rebuilt or the Morrowind Rebirth, such as making Morrowind look better when using mge (like making red mountain actually look and feel like a mountain)

In my humble opinion TR is too massive. Incorporation is very unlikely, at least until the project is not finished.
Same thing about Morrowind Rebirth, to a lesser extent.
If permission will be given, I suppose Kingpix and his team will incorporate both mods.

What I meant is since the game experience pack is an almost complete overhaul, I was asking if the pack was going to to something similar to morrowind rebirth, like improving the terrain, and making it look good with mge and stuff. As for tamriel rebuilt, I was asking if they were going to add stuff like ports, so that vvardenfell looked more like part of a province, as to support tamriel rebuilt in the future, but not depend on it.
Sorry, I dont always write that clearly

I have updated ABM. Now you can hire mercenaries from the guilds of fighters, and have an ordinator/imperial guard as companion, from the Temple/Imperial Legion.

TR is already supported fully by the S&G overhaul (in that there is no problems/conflicts in using it because TR doesn't change anything about vvardenfell) I see no reason why the gameplay pack wouldn't be the same unless it's adding landmasses in the same spot. Do you mean ports like for travel? There is a mod that adds way to get there from more places you can download too if you're looking for one perhaps that could be included as an option for those using TR.

Morrowind Overhaul is "just" a compilation of other mods and, in the future maybe, a "merger", but per se Morrowind Overhaul is not a mod on his own, so it is not going to do anything...
As I said before, though, both TR and MR will be included when they will be finished, I think.
