Save for a handful of witch-bothering Nords and the Dreamers, everyone in Morrowind is clothed too.
Well, apart from those other Nords in Solstheim, but they're mad.
Oh, and a few slaves here and there.
Oh yeah, and that guy, whasisname - Huleen's apprentice.
Okay, maybe there are quite a few unrestrained dongs flying about the island after all.

Anyway, never mind me, I was just joking anyway. I'm sure someone more mature than me (that is, anyone else) will show up with a reasonable response soon enough. ;)

Lady Rae did a mod that covers up people who don't wear any. I think. But I don't see an issue with it.

a reasonable response could simply be to let the people choose which texture replacer they prefer, with or without underwear :) i'll tell king_pix about this as soon as possible.
and since we're in topic, it could be an idea to let the people choose also the magic icon replacer they prefer ;)

anyway i'd like to say that this pack is not precluding any other modding possibility, so if there is something you REALLY don't like, you can switch it whit something more of your taste ;)

She did, you're right. It's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=3490.

Installed it, but something seems to be a little odd about the sound.

That's not a problem that comes from MGSO, since it doesn't alter any music from the game.
Something is wrong with your installed codecs in Windows.
Try to download and run this: http://nightmare2013.brashendeavors.net/

Yes I think I will do this for the final release :)

If I am getting errors during the exe opt., but it completes successfully, do I need to go back and run it at a later time? This should be clarified in the guide, it's not very clear.

Yeah It's better re-run it after the installation, you can find it in the Morrowind directory.
I will clarify it, thanks :)

Ok, doesn't work under Win7.

But I haven't looked for the obvious... Under /data files/Music, there is only one folder called "AM" with two files in it (AM_Music2.mp3 and AM_Music3.mp3). The Warnings.txt points to Data Files/Music/Special/morrowind title.mp3

UH?
I think you installed the package in the wrong folder, or maybe you accidentally deleted the Special, Explore & Battle folders from Data Files\Music
you need to restore those folders!

Sorry for asking dumb questions:

Should this folders be in the data-package or is it part of the steam-installation? I just want to clarify it... :/

Ok... I think I know what went (horribly) wrong.

? I backed up my working (German) installation
? I deleted the morrowind-folder
? I switched the Language at the steam-app, because I thought it will reinstall everything. It appears, that steam only reinstalls the necessary files.

Okay, one more try... :D

Got everything working early this afternoon, but haven't had much time to actually play. A BIG thanks to all of the mod authors whose work went into this pack. I took a couple of screenshots so far.

Same here. Works great, easy to follow. I haven't explored much, so I can't form an opinion on the mods themselves, but everything looks great. One thing though, I don't really like the bright colorful plants that you see at the beginning as you enter the Census Office. Not a big deal, just personal preference.

Having a couple of issues that I'll try to explain. When I'm in-game and try to load a different save file, the loading screen sort of... shines through... with what was on the screen when I tried to load. It has a faint outline of the models that were on the screen, basically. Also, not of much concern, but when opening doors into new cells, there is a tiny black box that appears on the crosshair for just a second, then goes away. I haven't been around Morrowind modding for a long while so I'm not sure if these are common issues. I'd have screenshots, but it wouldn't let me capture loading screens. Thanks!

Oh, yeah, those are tipical shaders' problems, I don't know if there's a way to fix them but don't worry, they won't affect your game ;)

I'm really glad that you liked our guide, and so I will tell you a little secret...
yesterday evening we came up with a really good idea (imho)
We want to write a program called MGSO Options that explain and shows you the choices you have to make between different versions of the same thing.
For example you will have to choose between better bodies nvde version and underwear version, between dark vanilla looking trees and a lighter and colorful version of them and so on.
You will be able to do this with a few clicks and the program will take care to do all the file sobstitutution work for you! :D
So, what do you think about this?

Sounds like it could be cool, it's a good idea. I'm just here to enjoy the pack, will test what I can, and am just hoping the pack is maintained over time. Add features as you please.
