@Hermit, some Ice cream is all you'll get :toughninja: ...whenever i see you post, my first thought is 'oh noes problem with his game again' :whistling:

Vurt is right! I drive the Grass at 75% and its awesome. But even 5% more or less can be felt FPS-wise!

Oh, something I wanted to share...Haven't had a single crash since I installed! :hubbahubba: This is a new record for me.
The most stable build of Modded Morro on my rig! :shocking:

Hello there, thought it was worth posting my thoughts on the mod, as there are some things no one has brought up yet.
First of all, the installer and options menu are amazing, thank you, and the game looks and runs great. I have a couple of problems with it though.

-Some of the sounds used are so low quality and just plain bad that sometimes you can't even work out what they are meant to be, really disrupts the game. I realise this is 1.0 and there are to be many patches, but I thought it was worth noting that walking past the mages and fighters guilds in balmora sounds like your on a creaky wooden boat, due, apparently to the wooden signs on the buildings.

-When I cast a shield spell, I get a weird white artifact around my body, sort of a 3d shape protruding from my character, and covers lots of the screen. This is probably something I did, but if anyone else has had the problem or knows a solution please help me out.

-Is there any way to get rid of the new faces/hair? I have always hated the face texture mods of morrowind, they always, imo, look much, much worse than the original game's faces. Sure the texture resolution is higher, but they look ugly and creepy. Also I now have a huge head of hair that clips with my armour. Which svcks :P

So this is just, wonderful. I only have couple problems with it, one is just a personal preference, and the others are probably me messing up.

So for one, this is what my Morrowind looked like before.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWD2GOWHmFs

This is what it looks like now that I have installed this mod.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KW2EIoA6vtE

I have no idea why my trees (just the leaves?), are doing that. I tried rebuilding the distant land textures over and over with different statistics and have no idea why they look that way. I followed the steps each time just changing the statistics (after the first time didn't pan out), and it looks the same each time. What setting is it exactly that is causing that. Also, I tried using the statistics I used back from when I made video a long time ago, and I still get the same problem. I even tried minimum static as 1, and it doesn't help. Same problem.

The other thing is, I prefer the natural unmodded water (as in my original video), it looked better to me, what do I need to do to get it to look like that again?

Lastly, why does the sky seem to not "wrap" around Nirn as it used to? Now it looks like it "appears" halfway above the horizon. Again I'm sure this just something I did incorrectly...

Thanks.

Sound:
Sounds seem fine, to me. But if you dont like some, look for them in the sound folder and replace them with a silent.mp3, or DL a sound mod of yer fancy. :jammasterjay:

Shield:
The issue was addressed a page back!
Some bits went missing while making this Pack, get the rest here:

For the Shield Spell trouble...look here!
http://planeteldersc....Detail&id=3466
Simply drop the mesh folder of this mod into your Data Files folder (just the mesh folder nothing else!)

Heads:
There are many to chose from. But the old faces and hairs are still in there. You'll just have to browse all the available during PC creation.

:obliviongate:

@Helltech; did you start thje deal with a fresh install of Morrowind, or did you copy and paste into the old one?

I'm not sure whether this is a mod- or overhaul-specific related issue, but I noticed some floating trees around Ald Sotha. Just thought I'd let you know.

Your team did a great job picking some of the most beautiful replacers out there. This will undoubtedly help a lot of people who don't have as much time to invest in modding Morrowind as most of us hanging around here have.

Not sure if this is helpful but thought I'd mention it as an "if all else fails try this" option for the guide - place files directly from disc into your morrowind folder for each before installing for each disc and you will completely avoid the snowflake and netch cuirass issue, and I'm also getting no CTDs after installing this way - it's running completely flawlessly.

The Ahemmusa Camp has a very misplaced tree that could probably be easily fixed I'd assume. (Vurt's lite grazelands area I assume is the mod)

Or you can just install the game with full Admin control...
Or you can just move the Install location to somewhere out of Program Files...
Or you can just turn off your User Account Control.

There's easier ways to bypass Vista/W7 issues than moving all the files around.

Still had the same problems after doing all of the above, the only thing that worked 100% for me was copying the files over from disc manually before installing.
And as I said it's an "if all else fails" option.

Not steam version, normal.

I've been modding my Morrowind for.... years. I honestly don't know whats wrong. I tried reinstalling today, same problem. It only happens with this compliation (or it could be that I'm not using the new MGE right, I've been using an old version for-EVER). My old install when I try using it, no problem, the leaves all appear correctly, but in this one they fade in and out, and look "half-appeared" at certain distances. Its very distracting.

Also whats the mods (settings?) I need to delete/change to get the old vanilla water?

Wow this mod is amazing.

first I was :brokencomputer: (my fault not the mods)

then I was

Now im  to all the modders who contributed to this.
seriously I am in awe of what you guys/gals can do with this nearly decade old game.

I am running into a small problem though, the night sky( which rocks) has weird shapes that are slightly darker. its as if only these parts were clear when the rest of the sky is slightly hazy. anyone have an Idea how to fix this?

Yes the old faces do exist, but for some reason when I load my save game my face and hair have changed into an ugly, creepy 'equivalent'. Any ideas on how to revert them back?

Oi, mate, load a save of your fancy and press the tlide key in a running game.

enter:
enableracemenu

The starting menu will pop up. Browse the faces and hairs and pick the ones yer fancy.

Press ok and be done with it. Your character will now have the chosen face and hair.

Save a new save-game.
Voila.

Run the "racemenu" only once every game session! Otherwise it will be stuck! :toughninja:

@Faximus; do post a screeny mate, i don't really get what you mean!

Looks like you're on vista or 7 and you have it in your program files which causes problems.

From the guide -
NON-STEAM USERS ONLY: Do not to install the game into the Program Files folder on Windows Vista and Windows 7 since it can cause problems! I suggest to disable the UAC, too, because it can cause some problems.

I accidentally skipped this my first install as well, since I somehow just passed over it because I saw the word steam and assumed it didn't apply to me when it actually specified NON-STEAM.
